Heb 7:8 And here men that die receive tithes; but there he receiveth them, of whom it is witnessed that he liveth. 9 And as I may so say, Levi also, who receiveth tithes, payed tithes in Abraham. 10 For he was yet in the loins of his father, when Melchisedec met him.
If Levi paid tithes while in Abraham’s loins, is it so difficult to believe that we sinned while in Adam’s loins?
Ex 37 ... visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children, and upon the children's children, unto the third and to the fourth generation. I Kings 15:3 And he walked in all the sins of his father, which he had done before him: and his heart was not perfect with the LORD his God, as the heart of David his father.
Neh 9:2 And the seed of Israel separated themselves from all strangers, and stood and confessed their sins, and the iniquities of their fathers.
Jer. 14:20 We acknowledge, O LORD, our wickedness, and the iniquity of our fathers: for we have sinned against thee.
Original sin must be acknowledge and forsaken. Not used as an excuse to walk in it.

Hebrews 7:1 For this Melchisedec, king of Salem, priest of the most high God, who met Abraham returning from the slaughter of the kings, and blessed him; 2 To whom also Abraham gave a tenth part of all; first being by interpretation King of righteousness, and after that also King of Salem, which is, King of peace; 3 Without father, without mother, without descent, having neither beginning of days, nor end of life; but made like unto the Son of God; abideth a priest continually.
The Lexical priesthood was a limited priesthood. You were only a priest if you were born of priestly parents and your children became priest after you. You began service at 25 or 30 years of age and stopped service at 50 years of age. The Melchisedec priesthood, which predated the Lexical priesthood, was restored by Jesus Christ has no such limitations. Someone can become a priest after the order of Melchisedec regardless of who their parents are and their children may or may not become a priest in the order of Melchisedec. The time of service is not limited by age. The Melchisedec priesthood has always existed and its’ High Priest has always existed. The Lexical priesthood was/is a supplement and subpart of the Melchisedec priesthood. Witness that two of Aaron’s sons were rejected from the priesthood when they offered strange fire. Also witness that Samuel, of the tribe of Ephriam, operated as a priest. His sons were also rejected. Anyone who ministers (preachers, teachers, evangelist) in the church does so under the Melchisedec priesthood.

The reason there is no sacrifice today is the Temple was destroyed, so no place is available to sacrifice. Dan C Was there a Temple when Abel offered a sacrifice? If there was no temple when Abel offered a sacrifice, why does a new one have to be constructed now in order to perform a sacrifice?

Acts 21:26 Then Paul took the men, and the next day purifying himself with them entered into the temple, to signify the accomplishment of the days of purification, until that an offering should be offered for every one of them.
If Christ done away with animal sacrifice, why was Paul going to make an offering which involve animal sacrifice?

The story of the birth of Christ as found in the Gospel of Luke is left out of The Gospel of the LORD composed by Maricon (some what of a Gnostic leader). Should we throw out the birth story because it is not contained in Maricon’s early transcript? Or is it safe to assume that Maricon edited Luke’s transcript (which is lost) to suit his Gnostic leaning? There were false teachers/wrighters around when the Gospels and other texts were composed.
Prov. 25: 19 Confidence in an unfaithful man in time of trouble is like a broken tooth, and a foot out of joint.

If God accepts Sunday whorship. Then the story of Cain is not logical.
Cain offered a scrifice not required by God. It displeased God.
Christians offer a day not required by God. Why would that please him.

James 3:12 Can the fig tree, my brethren, bear olive berries? either a vine, figs? so can no fountain both yield salt water and fresh.
When I read in a book that Sarah committed suicide and Rebekah was 9 when she married Jacob who was 40. That is all the salt I need. I read no further.

I do also think that to do our best it should be on a four cornered garment. For women scarves are great since that have four corners. It just makes us be creative sometimes on how we will fulfill the command. Yedidyah Isa 11:12 And he shall set up an ensign for the nations, and shall assemble the outcasts of Israel, and gather together the dispersed of Judah from the four corners of the earth. The round earth has four corners : north, south, west and east. Could a round garment have four corners: front, back, left and right?

Gods appointed days equals a tithe of the year:
Passover is in the 1st Month on the 14th day and lasts for 1 day. Lev 23:5 Unleaven Bread is in the 1st Month on the 15th day and lasts for 7 days. Lev 23:6 Pentacost is fifty days after First Fruits which falls during Unleaven Bread and lasts 7 days. Lev23:15-21 Trumpets is in the 7th Month on the 1st day and lasts for 1 day. Lev 23:24-25 Atonement is in the 7th Month on the 10th day and lasts for 1 day. Lev 23:24-25 Tabernacles is in the 7th Month on the 15th day and lasts for 8 days. Lev 23:34-36 New Moons fall on the first day of each moon cycle and last for 1day with each year having either 12 or 13. Num 10-10, 28:11
A tenth of a year is 36.5 days. If you add all of the Holy day up, you get 36 or 37 days per year. For an average of 36.5 days.
* Note Trumpets co-insides with the new moon of 7th month so is not counted in the total.
Pretty net.

Mark,
I attended Feast of Tabernacles with Season or Our Joy and there was a speaker from FFOZ trying to explain their shift. It seemed to me that his position was that is was okay to be a carnal christian and that there was no need to become a Spiritual Christian. It was my first exposure to FFOZ and it wasn’t a positive one.
Tonga,
Luke 16:31 And he said unto him, If they hear not Moses and the prophets, neither will they be persuaded, though one rose from the dead.
Most of Christianity is based upon the premiss that one can hear from the Jesus who rose from the dead without giving any heed to Moses or the prophets, though Jesus himself taught that if one does not hear Moses and the Prophets neither will he be convinced by His rising from the dead.
Matt 11:29 Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. 30 For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.
Prov 13:15 Good understanding giveth favour: but the way of transgressors is hard.
So what is this yoke that Jesus is speaking of. Proverbs tells us that the way of transgressors is hard. Transgressors are those who go against and or break God’s laws, so the easy way or yoke is for those who observe and do God’s laws just and Jesus observed and done the laws of God. So Gentiles have a choice to make the same as Israel did in the following verses:
Deut 30:19 I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live: 20 That thou mayest love the LORD thy God, and that thou mayest obey his voice, and that thou mayest cleave unto him: for he is thy life, and the length of thy days: that thou mayest dwell in the land which the LORD sware unto thy fathers, to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob, to give them.
John 8:28 Then said Jesus unto them, When ye have lifted up the Son of man, then shall ye know that I am he, and that I do nothing of myself; but as my Father hath taught me, I speak these things. John 14:15 If ye love me, keep my commandments. Any Gentile who loves Jesus must keep his commandments which come from the Father.

Ex 23:24 Thou shalt not bow down to their gods, nor serve them, nor do after their works: but thou shalt utterly overthrow them, and quite break down their images. 25 And ye shall serve the LORD your God, and he shall bless thy bread, and thy water; and I will take sickness away from the midst of thee. 26 There shall nothing cast their young, nor be barren, in thy land: the number of thy days I will fulfil. [/img] The above emblem was a link on the web page that contained the article. The emblem is the staff of the pagan god - Mercury with a Star of David attached to the top. A fitting description of what I found in the article, a mixture of pagan philosophies with the Laws of God. Below are a few of the items that I take issue with. From the Article: The fact that the requires a monetary payment for causing a miscarriage is interpreted by some Rabbis to indicate that abortion is not a capital crime4 and by others as merely indicating that one is not executed for performing an abortion, even though it is a type of murder.5 Answer: Ex 21:22 If men strive, and hurt a woman with child, so that her fruit depart from her, and yet no mischief follow: he shall be surely punished, according as the woman's husband will lay upon him; and he shall pay as the judges determine. 23 And if any mischief follow, then thou shalt give life for life, 24 Eye for eye, tooth for tooth, hand for hand, foot for foot, Sure sound like the life of the one that cause the woman’s fruit to depart is required if the baby dies. From the Article: As a general rule, abortion in Judaism is permitted only if there is a direct threat to the life of the mother by carrying the fetus to term or through the act of childbirth. In such a circumstance, the baby is considered tantamount to a rodef, a pursuer6 after the mother with the intent to kill her. Answer: Under this rule, Rachel would have been justified had she aborted Benjamin. From the Article: It is important to point out that the reason that the life of the fetus is subordinate to the mother is because the fetus is the cause of the mother's life-threatening condition, whether directly (e.g. due to toxemia, placenta previa, or breach position) or indirectly (e.g. exacerbation of underlying diabetes, kidney disease, or hypertension).8 Answer: Under this rule it should be permissible to terminate the mother when her body produces anti-bodies that will cause Hemolytic disease of the newborn resulting many times in its death.
