Gods appointed days equals a tithe of the year:
Passover is in the 1st Month on the 14th day and lasts for 1 day. Lev 23:5 Unleaven Bread is in the 1st Month on the 15th day and lasts for 7 days. Lev 23:6 Pentacost is fifty days after First Fruits which falls during Unleaven Bread and lasts 7 days. Lev23:15-21 Trumpets is in the 7th Month on the 1st day and lasts for 1 day. Lev 23:24-25 Atonement is in the 7th Month on the 10th day and lasts for 1 day. Lev 23:24-25 Tabernacles is in the 7th Month on the 15th day and lasts for 8 days. Lev 23:34-36 New Moons fall on the first day of each moon cycle and last for 1day with each year having either 12 or 13. Num 10-10, 28:11
A tenth of a year is 36.5 days. If you add all of the Holy day up, you get 36 or 37 days per year. For an average of 36.5 days.
* Note Trumpets co-insides with the new moon of 7th month so is not counted in the total.
Pretty net.

That's very interesting.
What about the weekly Sabbaths? They were the first of the moedim to be given.
Also, do you believe that these are all the "tithe of our time" that we owe to Elohim, or does this just underscore the fact that we owe Him a tithe of our time as well? After all, that "the Sabbath was made for man, not man for the Sabbath" kind of says to me it is us that needs the breaks, not the Almighty. He was most likely setting an example for us when He "rested". Actually, He did a "little bit" of "necessary" work on that first Shabbath, as "he is before all things, and in him all things hold together." Col 1:17, ESV
So if His moedim are there for us, then maybe we still owe Him a "tithe of our time", and maybe just a bit more, just to show our appreciation?

Oh well, would have been interesting even though I'm not particularly in to such things. Numerology doesn't always add up for me. Dan C

Numerology doesn't always add up for me. Dan C Me either. But when I get a list I always try to add things up and relate it to something that is already known. It is a tool that I use to remember things.
