Fat seems to have been reserved for being burnt upon the alter and not for consumption:
Leviticus 3:16 And the priest shall burn them upon the altar: it is the food of the offering made by fire for a sweet savour: all the fat is the LORD'S.
Leviticus 3:17 It shall be a perpetual statute for your generations throughout all your dwellings, that ye eat neither fat nor blood.
Leviticus 7:25 For whosoever eateth the fat of the beast, of which men offer an offering made by fire unto the LORD, even the soul that eateth it shall be cut off from his people.
If fat was intended for the three earlier verses, what is the mechanics/purpose of seething a kid in his mother's fat? If you seethe a kid's stomach in his mother's milk (or any milk for that matter) the result is cheese. Again, what product is made when seething a kid in fat? Way not just seethe the kid in its' own fat?

Exodus 23:19 ... Thou shalt not seethe a kid in his mother's milk.
Exodus 34:26 ... Thou shalt not seethe a kid in his mother's milk.
Deuteronomy 14:21 ... Thou shalt not seethe a kid in his mother's milk.
Abraham and God ate meat and milk at the same meal:
Genesis 18:8 And he took butter, and milk, and the calf which he had dressed, and set it before them; and he stood by them under the tree, and they did eat.

[]The 613 Mitzvoth are commonly misunderstood to be Law. What they are is a Rabbinical Judaic interpretation of . Many in MJ, myself included do not follow that list because we do not just copy Judaism, and we do not feel bound by the precepts of Rabbinical Judaism. We are however bound by . If God said it, we do it to the best of our abilities. I'd recommend starting with Acts 15: Dan C The 613 are directly from the first five books of the Bible. There are 248 positive commandments and 365 Negative commandments.

Though we are not told how long Job's trial lasted we do have the following:
Luke 8:43 And a woman having an issue of blood twelve years, which had spent all her living upon physicians, neither could be healed of any, Luke 13:11 And, behold, there was a woman which had a spirit of infirmity eighteen years, and was bowed together, and could in no wise lift up herself. John 5:5 And a certain man was there, which had an infirmity thirty and eight years. Acts 4:22 For the man (lame from his mother's womb)was above forty years old, on whom this miracle of healing was shewed. Acts 9:33 And there he found a certain man named Aeneas, which had kept his bed eight years, and was sick of the palsy. 34And Peter said unto him, Aeneas, Jesus Christ maketh thee whole:
The phrase "and it came to pass" occurs 396 times in the King James. Your trial will come to pass. I pray that at the end of your trial you will be counted faithful as Job was and God receive glory for your delivery.

\ I hear many tell me “If it’s not in , it isn’t a commandment.” Dan C I am one of those Dan has heard this from. Matt 5 is one of the reasons, I am in that camp. In verse 5 Jesus tells the lame man to "Rise, take up thy bed, and walk." the Jew's tell the man what he is doing is unlawful because it is the Sabbath. I do not believe Jesus would tell the man to do something that is against God's law. In fact in verse 14, Jesus tells the man to "sin no more" indicating he was to keep God's Law. So the law that the man broke in carrying his bed was not a law laid out in God's law regarding the Sabbath, rather it was one laid out by man's law regarding the Sabbath. We can not allow others to judge us as to how we keep the Sabbath. Only God's Law governs how we keep the Sabbath. However if a group of believers wants to covenant together and say, "We will not carry bedding about on the Sabbath." There is no law against them doing so. And God will bless it, if they hold to it. For an example of this type of covenant look Jeremiah 35 where the Rechabites, which was started by Jonadab the son of Rechad, were praised for holding to the commandments of their farther, Jonadab.

You may find the following scriptures instructive in looking for the "age of accountability"
Exodus 30:14 Every one that passeth among them that are numbered, from twenty years old and above, shall give an offering unto the LORD. Exodus 38:26 A bekah for every man, that is, half a shekel, after the shekel of the sanctuary, for every one that went to be numbered, from twenty years old and upward, for six hundred thousand and three thousand and five hundred and fifty men. Leviticus 27:3 And thy estimation shall be of the male from twenty years old even unto sixty years old, even thy estimation shall be fifty shekels of silver, after the shekel of the sanctuary. Leviticus 27:5 And if it be from five years old even unto twenty years old, then thy estimation shall be of the male twenty shekels, and for the female ten shekels. Numbers 14:26 And the LORD spake unto Moses and unto Aaron, saying, 27How long shall I bear with this evil congregation, which murmur against me? I have heard the murmurings of the children of Israel, which they murmur against me. 28Say unto them, As truly as I live, saith the LORD, as ye have spoken in mine ears, so will I do to you: 29Your carcases shall fall in this wilderness; and all that were numbered of you, according to your whole number, from twenty years old and upward, which have murmured against me, 30Doubtless ye shall not come into the land, concerning which I sware to make you dwell therein, save Caleb the son of Jephunneh, and Joshua the son of Nun. 31But your little ones, which ye said should be a prey, them will I bring in, and they shall know the land which ye have despised. 32But as for you, your carcases, they shall fall in this wilderness.
I Kings 14: 12 Arise thou therefore, get thee to thine own house: and when thy feet enter into the city, the child shall die. 13 And all Israel shall mourn for him, and bury him: for he only of Jeroboam shall come to the grave, because in him there is found some good thing toward the LORD God of Israel in the house of Jeroboam. II King 21: 1Manasseh was twelve years old when he began to reign, and reigned fifty and five years in Jerusalem. And his mother's name was Hephzibah. 2And he did that which was evil in the sight of the LORD, after the abominations of the heathen, whom the LORD cast out before the children of Israel. II Kings 22: 1 Josiah was eight years old when he became king, and he reigned in Jerusalem thirty-one years. His mother’s name was Jedidah daughter of Adaiah; she was from Bozkath. 2 He did what was right in the eyes of the LORD and followed completely the ways of his father David, not turning aside to the right or to the left. II Kings 11:21 Seven years old was Jehoash when he began to reign. 12:1 In the seventh year of Jehu Jehoash began to reign; and forty years reigned he in Jerusalem. And his mother's name was Zibiah of Beersheba. 2 And Jehoash did that which was right in the sight of the LORD all his days wherein Jehoiada the priest instructed him. II Kings 2: 23And he went up from thence unto Bethel: and as he was going up by the way, there came forth little children out of the city, and mocked him, and said unto him, Go up, thou bald head; go up, thou bald head. 24And he turned back, and looked on them, and cursed them in the name of the LORD. And there came forth two she bears out of the wood, and tare forty and two children of them. II 24: 8Jehoiachin was eighteen years old when he began to reign, and he reigned in Jerusalem three months. And his mother's name was Nehushta, the daughter of Elnathan of Jerusalem. 9And he did that which was evil in the sight of the LORD, according to all that his father had done. Luke 1:41 And it came to pass, that, when Elisabeth heard the salutation of Mary, the babe leaped in her womb; and Elisabeth was filled with the Holy Ghost:

Yeah I know since I am not Jewish Romans 2:29 But he is a Jew, which is one inwardly; and circumcision is that of the heart, in the spirit, and not in the letter; whose praise is not of men, but of God. I am Jewish.

[ I think that you are assuming that Yeshua died in 33CE. Looking at the chart I prepared below, that year's Pesach allows Two Nights, Two Days and a few hours in the grave...which under some counting methods, works as three full days, counting in the inclusive manner.
I personally take the Scriptures as stated...and the reference to Jonah by Yeshua is about being three days and three nights in the belly of the big fish.Jonah 1:17 (CJB)
17 Adonai prepared a huge fish to swallow Yonah; and Yonah was in the belly of the fish for three days and three nights.Could someone clear something up for me? Where are we told that Jesus will spend 3 days and 3 nights in the Tomb/Grave/Hell? The following is the only scripture that even comes close that I can find. Matthew 12:40 For as Jonas was three days and three nights in the whale's belly; so shall the Son of man be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth. How is "the heart of the earth" equated to the Tomb/Grave/Hell? I think by the tradition/teaching of the catholic church. Suppose for a minute it is not the Tomb. What would it be? Genesis 6:5 And GOD saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually. What if "the heart of the earth" is the evil that prevails upon the earth? What if Jesus entered "the heart of the earth" when Judas kissed him? Then: night one - Kiss of Judas till the rooster crew. day one - rooster crow till sixth hour when darkness came night two - sixth hour till ninth hour when light returned day two - ninth hour till night fall the beginning of the Sabbath night three - Sabbath night day three - Sabbath day That is three complete dark and light cycles before the women show up as the sun is dawning on the first day of the week and find Jesus already risen.

This week’s readings: Mark 7:19 (KJV) Because it entereth not into his heart, but into the belly, and goeth out into the draught, purging all meats? Dan C Words don't always have the meaning that we are use to. Take the word "meat" in the above text and compare it to what the below text call meat. Genesis 1:29 And God said, Behold, I have given you every herb bearing seed, which is upon the face of all the earth, and every tree, in the which is the fruit of a tree yielding seed; to you it shall be for meat. Leviticus 2:1 And when any will offer a meat offering unto the LORD, his offering shall be of fine flour; and he shall pour oil upon it, and put frankincense thereon: . Leviticus 2:5 And if thy oblation be a meat offering baken in a pan, it shall be of fine flour unleavened, mingled with oil. Since the text in Mark states they were eating bread with unwashed hands the meat in Mark 7:19 is not referring to the flesh of an animal and can not be construed to mean that the flesh of unclean animals can be consumed.

I have confession to make. I broke Sabbath today. I went to work today and helped enter pay increases for 110 employees. I was given the go ahead at 4:30pm Friday to make the entries which had to be completed by 9:30am Monday, in order for it to be on the employees paycheck Friday. I could have made the two employees helping me come in on Sunday, their preferred holy day. However that would have been laying a burden upon them that I was not willing to lift a finger to perform myself.

Alon, I would need another thread to explain better why I think that the account of Peter's vision in Acts suggests that there were animals in the sheet that the labeled ritually unclean, and that the Lord instructed him to eat those animals. There were unclean animals the sheet. God However did not instruct Peter to eat any of the unclean animals. God instructed him to kill and eat one of the clean animals that was in the sheet. Act 10:11 And saw heaven opened, and a certain vessel descending unto him, as it had been a great sheet knit at the four corners, and let down to the earth: 12 Wherein were all manner of fourfooted beasts of the earth, and wild beasts, and creeping things, and fowls of the air. 13 And there came a voice to him, Rise, Peter; kill, and eat. 14 But Peter said, Not so, Lord; for I have never eaten any thing that is common or unclean. 15 And the voice spake unto him again the second time, What God hath cleansed, that call not thou common. 16 This was done thrice: and the vessel was received up again into heaven. Verse 12 clearly states that there were all manner of fourfooted beast in the sheet. This would include clean animals such as sheep, goats, cows, and deer, as well as unclean animals such as pigs, horses, and camels. In verse 12 Peter said he never ate anything the was common or unclean. A common animal is a clean animal that has become unclean by coming into contact with something unclean. The carcase of an unclean animal will cause what it touches to become unclean. However touching an unclean living animal does not cause anything to become unclean. See Lev. 11;26-28. So peter was in error to call the clean animals in the sheet common. In verse 15 God rebukes Peter for calling something common that God had cleansed. That would have been for calling the clean animals in the sheet common. Also note God did not rebuke Peter for calling the unclean animals in the sheet unclean.

I Kings 11:1 But king Solomon loved many strange women, together with the daughter of Pharaoh, women of the Moabites, Ammonites, Edomites, Zidonians, and Hittites; 2Of the nations concerning which the LORD said unto the children of Israel, Ye shall not go in to them, neither shall they come in unto you: for surely they will turn away your heart after their gods: Solomon clave unto these in love. 3And he had seven hundred wives, princesses, and three hundred concubines: and his wives turned away his heart. 4For it came to pass, when Solomon was old, that his wives turned away his heart after other gods: and his heart was not perfect with the LORD his God, as was the heart of David his father. 5For Solomon went after Ashtoreth the goddess of the Zidonians, and after Milcom the abomination of the Ammonites. 6And Solomon did evil in the sight of the LORD, and went not fully after the LORD, as did David his father.
Did Solomon lose his salvation/(standing with the LORD)? Or did he never have salvation/(a walk with the LORD)?

However I know of no outright command to preserve human life. Dan C Deuteronomy 30:19 I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live: Proverbs 24: 11 If thou forbear to deliver them that are drawn unto death, and those that are ready to be slain; 12If thou sayest, Behold, we knew it not; doth not he that pondereth the heart consider it? and he that keepeth thy soul, doth not he know it? and shall not he render to every man according to his works?
