(i) Where in scripture did God say He permitted polygamy because of a surplus of women?
Isaiah 4:1 And in that day seven women shall take hold of one man, saying, We will eat our own bread, and wear our own apparel: only let us be called by thy name, to take away our reproach.
The above is the scripture I hear most quoted for having more than one wife. But I never hear them read what it took to get to that point. Isaiah 3:24 And it shall come to pass, that instead of sweet smell there shall be stink; and instead of a girdle a rent; and instead of well set hair baldness; and instead of a stomacher a girding of sackcloth; and burning instead of beauty. 25 Thy men shall fall by the sword, and thy mighty in the war. 26 And her gates shall lament and mourn; and she being desolate shall sit upon the ground. Here is another one often used: @ Samuel 12: 8And I gave thee thy master's house, and thy master's wives into thy bosom, and gave thee the house of Israel and of Judah; and if that had been too little, I would moreover have given unto thee such and such things. But again they fail to read further: 9Wherefore hast thou despised the commandment of the LORD, to do evil in his sight? thou hast killed Uriah the Hittite with the sword, and hast taken his wife to be thy wife, and hast slain him with the sword of the children of Ammon. 10Now therefore the sword shall never depart from thine house; because thou hast despised me, and hast taken the wife of Uriah the Hittite to be thy wife. 11Thus saith the LORD, Behold, I will raise up evil against thee out of thine own house, and I will take thy wives before thine eyes, and give them unto thy neighbour, and he shall lie with thy wives in the sight of this sun. The following is often look at as a go ahead for multiple wives. Exodus 21: 10If he take him another wife; her food, her raiment, and her duty of marriage, shall he not diminish. However the next verse makes this passage about divorce. 11And if he do not these three unto her, then shall she go out free without money. Of course divorce was only granted because of the hardness of men’s hearts. In other words God places restraint on men taking more wives because of the hardness of their hearts. So if you refuse to cleave unto your wife you come under the restrictions of this law. Just like you come under the curse of death if you murder someone.

I have reason to believe the "Book of Jasher" is the book referred to in Revelation as the "Book of Life". As pointed out by alon "Jasher" means "upright" if you are upright you are alive/just and not dead/unjust.

Often I hear/read that the Eastern concept of time is circular while the Western concept of time is linear. My current thought on this is that this teaching is False, and is an attempt to prove that West/Church has move away from the East/Judaism. While the West/Church has move certainly moved away from the East/Judaism this concept is not a valid reason as to how the move has occurred. East and West have both circular and linear concepts of time.

This is the one I would apply personally:
Genesis 12:1 Now the LORD had said unto Abram, Get thee out of thy country, and from thy kindred, and from thy father's house, unto a land that I will shew thee:

Exodus 12:49 (ESV) "There shall be one law for the native and for the stranger who sojourns among you.”
Please compare with: Deuteronomy 14:21 Ye shall not eat of any thing that dieth of itself: thou shalt give it unto the stranger that is in thy gates, that he may eat it; or thou mayest sell it unto an alien: for thou art an holy people unto the LORD thy God. Thou shalt not seethe a kid in his mother's milk. Leviticus 17:15 And every soul that eateth that which died of itself, or that which was torn with beasts, whether it be one of your own country, or a stranger, he shall both wash his clothes, and bathe himself in water, and be unclean until the even: then shall he be clean. Deuteronomy 23:20 Unto a stranger thou mayest lend upon usury; but unto thy brother thou shalt not lend upon usury: that the LORD thy God may bless thee in all that thou settest thine hand to in the land whither thou goest to possess it. Deuteronomy 17:15 Thou shalt in any wise set him king over thee, whom the LORD thy God shall choose: one from among thy brethren shalt thou set king over thee: thou mayest not set a stranger over thee, which is not thy brother. Deuteronomy 25:5 If brethren dwell together, and one of them die, and have no child, the wife of the dead shall not marry without unto a stranger: her husband's brother shall go in unto her, and take her to him to wife, and perform the duty of an husband's brother unto her.

Deuteronomy 11:24 Every place whereon the soles of your feet shall tread shall be yours: from the wilderness and Lebanon, from the river, the river Euphrates, even unto the uttermost sea shall your coast be.
Jews were/are dispersed among all the nations therefore we are among them.

I don't speak for Orthodox Jews or for God. My understanding is Orthodox Jews worship God. Christ said he is God. So Orthodox Jews Worship Christ.

Try asking these people if they run their homes like they claim God runs his. Ask her if her husband committed adultery and ask for forgiveness, would she not only forgive him but tell him that he is no longer required to stay true to her but is free to commit adultery as oft as it pleases him. Or if her child draws on the wall, will she forgive him and allow him to draw on the wall all he wants. This is actually a description of hate not love. Proverbs 12:1 Whoso loveth instruction loveth knowledge: but he that hateth reproof is brutish. Proverbs 13:24 He that spareth his rod hateth his son: but he that loveth him chasteneth him betimes. Proverbs 15:10 Correction is grievous unto him that forsaketh the way: and he that hateth reproof shall die. Heb 12:5 And ye have forgotten the exhortation which speaketh unto you as unto children, My son, despise not thou the chastening of the Lord, nor faint when thou art rebuked of him: 6 For whom the Lord loveth he chasteneth, and scourgeth every son whom he receiveth. 7 If ye endure chastening, God dealeth with you as with sons; for what son is he whom the father chasteneth not? 8 But if ye be without chastisement, whereof all are partakers, then are ye bastards, and not sons. 9 Furthermore we have had fathers of our flesh which corrected us, and we gave them reverence: shall we not much rather be in subjection unto the Father of spirits, and live? 10 For they verily for a few days chastened us after their own pleasure; but he for our profit, that we might be partakers of his holiness. 11 Now no chastening for the present seemeth to be joyous, but grievous: nevertheless afterward it yieldeth the peaceable fruit of righteousness unto them which are exercised thereby.
People who refuse to be subject unto the laws of God are anarchist. They be bastards not sons of God.

I Sam 2: 34And this shall be a sign unto thee, that shall come upon thy two sons, on Hophni and Phinehas; in one day they shall die both of them. 35And I will raise me up a faithful priest, that shall do according to that which is in mine heart and in my mind: and I will build him a sure house; and he shall walk before mine anointed for ever.
Jeremiah 32:35 And they built the high places of Baal, which are in the valley of the son of Hinnom, to cause their sons and their daughters to pass through the fire unto Molech; which I commanded them not, neither came it into my mind, that they should do this abomination, to cause Judah to sin.
These two verses appear to say people did some things that were not knowledgeable to God.
any thoughts?

The is consistently skeptical about knowledge based on appearances. One of the ways it signals this is its set of variations on the theme of clothes in Genesis.”
“Almost always they are used to deceive. Jacob wears Esau’s clothes to take his blessing. Tamar dresses as a prostitute to deceive Judah. The brothers daub Jacob’s richly embroidered robe in blood to convince their father that he has been eaten by a wild animal. Potiphrs wife uses Joseph’s abandoned cloak as evidence for a false charge of rape. Joseph, dressed in the robes of an Egyptian viceroy, is not recognized by his brothers.”
“The first time clothes appear in the book of Genesis sets the tone for all others. The first man and woman eat the forbidden fruit, realize that they are naked, feel ashamed, and make themselves coverings of fig leaves. It is thus with a shock of recognition that we discover the Hebrew word for garment, beged, also means “betrayal.” Clothes deceive. People are not what they appear to be.”
God made coats from skins to cover Adam and Eve, Jacob wore his brothers raiment, Tamar wore a widow's garment, Joseph wore the coat of many colors to show that he was to receive the double portion which Rubin had forfeited, he didn't ware the cloak to deceive. Latter God spends a lot of time detailing out the priest's garments, people rend their garments to show humility, David's daughters ware many colored garments to show that they were virgins. I am seeing two classes of clothes. Godly and Worldly.

A little over a month ago my wife was injured by a bull on our farm. 8 broken ribs, left arm broken, two broken fingers, Pelvis cracked. She is doing better now. I have been able to return to work. Just wanted to let everyone know why I have not been here lately.

obelisk - "o" means "My", bel means "lord", "isk" means "male sex organ".
Words have meanings even if we don't know them. Not sure why any church would want one on their place of worship.

a few interesting things:
Gen 7:11 In the six hundredth year of Noah's life, in the second month, the seventeenth day of the month, the same day were all the fountains of the great deep broken up, and the windows of heaven were opened.
Just 2 days after the Second Pass Over date.
Gen 8:4 And the ark rested in the seventh month, on the seventeenth day of the month, upon the mountains of Ararat.
Just 2 days after tabernacles.
Gen 8:10 And he stayed yet other seven days; and again he sent forth the dove out of the ark; Gen 8:12 And he stayed yet other seven days; and sent forth the dove; which returned not again unto him any more.
Noah searches for rest every 7th day.
Gen 8:13 And it came to pass in the six hundredth and first year, in the first month, the first day of the month, the waters were dried up from off the earth: and Noah removed the covering of the ark, and looked, and, behold, the face of the ground was dry.
On the start of the year.
