The Essence Of Mashiach...

I would like to make another statement. Last night I became aware of one scripture to its fullest. I was just sitting down practicing my calligraphy and I wrote out the letter "Shin". I thought about it and then I decided to draw a little, because I have found a new hobby in it. I drew a faceless man who had the Shin behind his eyes and a man who wore the tefellin. I don't know why I drew that, I was just doodling and thats what appeared to be there. I then took a look at the drawing and I got two things out of it.

First: That the letters of the "Aleph'Bet" are what is used for creation by G-d. I stared at the Shin and realized that it was a hand and Lamed was an arm and so on. So the letters themselves took on power and created after themselves. So the "Word" has the power to create and destroy quite literally. (Some of you know where I am taking this )

Second: That the "Word" was G-d, and the "Word" was with G-d. Therefore I believe that Yohshuah HaMoshiach was the commander of the "Words", and the letters. The Talmud relates that Moshiach will explain the words of , the letters of , and the spaces in between the letters of ; the letters of creation, the invisible letters. I believe that Yohshuah HaMoshiach was those letters and that this becomes obvious in the writings of Yochanan. He is the letters of fire that burned into the stone at Synai, and he is the letters of water that created the fish of the sea. Everything is created by those letters and Yoshuah HaMoshiach is those letters.

Read this and tell me you do not agree with me:
1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2 He was with God in the beginning. 3 All things came to be through him, and without him nothing made had being. 4 In him was life, and the life was the light of mankind.

Back to the point at hand, if this be true, than everything that exists has the Moshiach spark in thier very atoms, on the sub-atomic level. (Not to sound like star trek.) Since however he abides in more beings than others we empower those letters that make us up when he abides in us and we are therefores empowered. It is like a fish out of water, it cannot survive; Ah!; but when we are in Yohshuah HaMoshiach we are empowered by feeding those letters and therefore feeding our souls.

Wow, all that from a simple turn of events, a little bit of drawing; there are no coincidences.

I believe Yeshua is simply a counterpart of the Father, and this is why we see Him referred to as "son". The term begotten most likely stems from the fact that this part of YHVH was birthed in flesh as is clearly stated in Yochanan (John) chapter1. This does refer to the eternal nature of Yeshua. I tend to agree with Reuel on this matter. We must keep in mind that with out the creation of man, we would have no need for an understanding of the term begotten as its relates to a father and son. Y’shua was literally birthed. Was It YHVH that birthed him in a literal human sense? Of course not. Y’shua was born of a human mother, but this was made possible by YHVH. It was YHVH that revealed this aspect of YHVH (him self) in a human form. In this sense he was certainly begotten to us. Many of us know that man cannot look upon the face of YHVH in our current state (human form) (Exodus 33:18). What better way for YHVH to reveal YHVH’s self to us than by presenting us with a humanly accessible foreshadowing of himself. With Y’shua man could experience YHVH in flesh not only in spirit.

I read through all these posts. Very interesting. It is a topic that hubby and I have had many times in the last year. Questions still go unanswered for me.

However, first i must share this. As I was reading last night, the first post that Reuel shared quoting John 1 - something awesome happened. I don't know if it was the combination of what is being discussed or what, but as I was reading those scripture verses the lightbulb went on and all of a sudden I felt this force into my chest and a breath of air flow into me. It was the pneuma coming in giving me revelation as that lightbulb went on. Never experienced anything like that before! It was awesome!

Anyway, that said....

someone else brought it up... why would the Son be praying TO his Father if the Son is just a compound of the Father? Also, he sits/stands at the right hand of the Father. Is this a literal throne they are sitting upon? How do the Jews, once accepting Yeshua as the Messiah, come to grasp with this topic? The only one of Jewish faith I have been in contact with is adamant that worshipping Yeshua is breaking the first commandment.

This is a good question. Perhaps this is similar to our right arm using our nervous system to send communication to our brain. In this sense, our body communicates with itself. Does this mean that the part of the body that is communicating with the brain is seperate? Or, is it part of the same being? I believe this is a paradox that will be better understood when we see Him as He is.

This is a Hebrew Idiom meaning strength, power, and dominion, and can be also understood in the explanation above.

How do the Jews, once accepting Yeshua as the Messiah, come to grasp with this topic?

From what I have seen, they believe the scriptures at face value.

Yeshua clears this one up for us...

"But Yeshua cried out and said, The one believing into Me does not believe into Me, but into the One sending Me.
And the one seeing Me sees the One who sent Me.
I have come as a Light to the world, that everyone who believes into Me may not remain in the darkness."

Those whom know the truth believe what the Sh'ma says. We believe in One G'd and worship Him only.

This is really some sod level teaching here.
There are three pillars to the G-d head.
They are:
Av (Father)
Ruach (Mother-like)
Ben (Son)

Since HaShem is inifinite and without boundries, he has chosen these three qualities in which to reveal himself.

Y'hoshua ben-Yosef embodies the qualities of the Son. He is the Memra (Word), in the flesh.
In order for him to judge us for keeping or not keeping , he had to keep it perfectly. And, in order for him to keep , he also had to have the opportunity to break .
Therefore he had:
A human basar (body)
A human n'fesh (lower or instinctive soul)
The Ruach (spirit) of El
And the n'shoma (upper or creative soul) of El.
This enabled him to be tempted just like us, but in having the n'shoma of El, it allowed him to overcome such temptations.

Also, he sits/stands at the right hand of the Father.

Have to disagree with you here Reuel. The left hand is associated with g'vurah. The right is associated with chesed.

He is currently at the right hand of HaShem as Cohen HaGadol, preparing to become Mediator of the Renewed Covenant, which he will bring with him when he returns.

Absolutely. Let me put everything together, then I'll post my *rather lengthy* response.

Okay, now I'm figuring you're not asking about the right and left hands, and that you're not asking about Yeshua's role as Cohen HaGadol. So, all that leaves is a Renewed Covenant which has not yet been enacted. That is what I'll post about. If you were asking about something else, let me know.

Okay, here we go.

The terms of the Renewed Covenant are:

- HaShem will put His in Israel's inward parts and write it in their hearts.
(Jer. 31:33; 32:40)
- HaShem will maintain a special relationship with Israel (Jer.31:33; Ezkl. 37:27-28)
- All Israel shall know HaShem.
(Jer. 31:34)
- Israel's transgressions will be forgiven.
(Jer. 31:35; Ezkl. 16:63; Heb. 9:15, 22)
- ALL of the promised land will be given to Israel. (Jer.32:41-44; Ezkl. 37:26)
- HaShem will multiply Israel.
(Ezkl. 37:26)
- The Temple will permanently stand in Israel. (Ezkl.37:26-28)

The following are just a few reasons we know the Renewed Covenant is not for today:

- The Renewed Covenant is always mentioned in connection with the Kingdom.
(For example Jer. 31:31-34 in context of 34:10-40; Jer. 32:40-44 in context of 32:37-44; Ezkl. 37:26-27 in context of 37: 1-28; See also Mt. 26:28-29 & Mk. 14:25)
- When the Renewed Covenant is enacted all Israel will know HaShem.
(Jer. 31:31,34)
- When the Renewed Covenant is enacted Israel will receive ALL of the land promised to Avraham.
(Jer. 32:41-44; Ezkl. 37:26; This has yet to happen, see Gen. 16:18-21)
- When the Renewed Covenant is enacted, the Millennial Temple will stand in Israel forever.
(Ezkl. 37:26-28)
- When the Renewed Covenant is enacted there will be no longer be sin offerings. (Heb. 10:16-18) But:
1) Heb. 10:1-3 states that the offerings continue as a remembrance.
2) Rav Shaul made sin offerings
(Acts 21:23-26 with Num. 6:13-21 also Acts 24:17-18)
3) Offerings will be made at the Tribulation Temple. (Dan 9:27)
- Yeshua refused to partake of the cup of the Renewed Covenant until his return to establish the Kingdom.
(Mt. 26:28-29 & Mk. 14:25 & Lk. 22:20)

As you can see, those are future prophecies yet to be fulfilled. So, then if the Renewed Covenant has not yet been established, where is Yeshua & what is going on in the heavenlies? Let's take a look.

Rev. 5:1-9:
- This passage talks about a sefer (scroll or book) that is sealed with 7 seals, and the only one worthy to open it is the Lion of the tribe of Y'huda, the root of David, Yeshua HaMashiach. And, he was found to be worthy because he gave a death when none was required.

Rev. 22:12
- Now this passage says that when Mashiach returns, he will bring his reward with him. Hmmm... Interesting. What is the reward of the Mashiach??

Jer. 30:1-2, 32:40-43, 32:1-19, 31:31-34
- Two key things tie in here:
1) The prophet Yiremyahu is told to write down the words of HaShem in a sefer and seal it up.
2) In this same context, HaShem gives him most of the terms of the Renewed Covenant.

Do you see how they tie together?
1)Mashiach is only one who can open the sealed scroll.
2) By applying the words of Yiremyahu to Revelations, we can see that the sealed scroll opened by Mashiach is in fact the Renewed Covenant.
3)When Mashiach returns he will bring his reward (the Renewed Covenant), and usher in the Messianic Kingdom.

Well, I am a Nazarene...

Okay, right and left hand. The only scriptures I could point you to are the ones that list out the 10 qualities of Elohim.
(Ex. 31:3 & 1 Chron. 29:11)
Otherwise you would have to look to other sources.
(A Chabad Rabbi & the Zohar would be places to start)
