Very enlightening Kallah. I always enjoy reading about the Kabbalah, although one must always test things against the Spoken and Written Words of Elohim

Joshua: B"H! I agree. As it is written in Brit Chadasha, sefer Thessalonika.... "Prove all things, uphold that which is good." [1Thessalonians 5:21] b'ahavah Yeshua, Kallah

Oh, just as cool. I just thought it might have some Kabbalistic meaning. P.S. Does anyone visit that websit Chabad.org , it is very cool and has a ton of stuff on Rabbi Mendel Schneershon, of beloved memory, and many commentaries on the parshah. The whole idea of the website is to bring more jews back to practicing. I view this as a good thing, because the Jew that understands Tanach, will be told the teachings of "Rabbi Yohshuah" and find them true and then he will realize the truth of our Moshiach.

Sorry to get off topic. Back to the point at hand. What are you opinions on keeping meat and dairy seperate. How far does that go?

Shalom Chumash614 As I stated in my previous posts, my view is a little un-orthodox For me it is simple. Don't boil a kid in it's mother milk . Anything else is restricted by men, and not G'd. Although, I respect the opinions of my other observant brethren...even those whom do not believe in Yeshua HaMashiach. And, if I knew that somebody had a concern such as this...I would try to avoid offending someone, and accomodate them in any way possible. And, I believe this is what Rav Sha'ul (Paul) teaches by the Ruach HaKodesh found in the writings of the Brit HaDashah...and by no means teaches that is acceptable for anybody whom has joined themselves to YHVH (G'd) to transgress the commands found in Lev.11 as they are for both Jew, and Gentile (Num. 15:15-16). Shalom B'Shem Yeshua HaMashiach, Reuel

I believe in keeping meat and dairy completely seperate. How do you know if that milk that the cheese is made out of is not the milk of your hamburger's mother? I won't mix the two on my stove or in my refrigerator.

How do you know that the wheat/grain that was used in the bun that you had with your hamburger was not genetically ingineered with jelly fish genes? Should we really abstain from everything we eat based on what we don't know, or what cannot be proved? I know that it is better to be safe than sorry, but can we take this to an extreme that causes us not to eat certain things based on a lack of knowledge? Again, if this is how you interpret keeping the in this case...may G'd bless you. I am just communicating the way I currently view this subject. Shalom achi, Reuel

Are all the grain products that you buy certified kosher?

Oh yes, every single thing that I buy in my house is certified kosher. I would never eat anything that wasn't. It is becoming increasingly easy to keep kosher because many stores have kosher foods and meats.

Keep in mind that HaShem Yirah has given each of us different consciences and so each of us must trust in the Almighty for our path.

I heard that OU and Star K were more trustworthy than any of the other ones and that they are the most osher, but I honestly don't know. Currently I only buy OU or Star K.
