ThereĀ“s no place in the bible were it says that we become Jews. Remember Jews are just one part of the Israelites. There are twelve tribes. Are the Jews the folk of God? Yes along with the other 11 tribes. It says in the bible in romans that we become spiritually Israelites meaning descendants of Yakov ( may the Lord remember him). Peace and blessings be upon you. Shalom Lawrence, The term "Jew" or "Jewish" is used to identify the physical lineage of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. It is not divided into tribes. ~~In Messiah Yeshua, Vickilynn Micah 6:8

In context, and consistent with Paul's teachings elsewhere, I believe that Paul means in Romans 2:28-29 that gentiles become equal citizens in the household of Israel, not that they become changed in their blood-lineage by any means.

Shalom Mark, Thank you for clarifying your meaning. I appreciate it! I also agree that is what the Scriptures state, however, I have found a wide variety of beliefs on Messianic Jewish issues. I have found it always helps to ask what someone means rather than assume. Thanks again. ~~In Messiah Yeshua, Vickilynn Micah 6:8

After your clarification of your question, I figured what your concern must have been and I appreciate it. Consider yourself hugged! Mark
