There are so many beautiful Messianic songs out there and I'd like to perform them in church. However, I can't seem to find a source to get Messianic performance tracks. Christianbooks.com and other sites that don't specialize in Messianic stuff don't really carry them.
Anyone know a source where I can go to get some Messianic tracks? October 1st is the National Day of Prayer for Jerusalem and I thought it would be appropriate to sing a Jewish song in my church...
Thanks in advance for any info...

You might contact Ted Pierce at www.tedpearce.com/ . He is part of "Lamb" and an internationally recognized Messianic artist on his own label. He might be able to help you find what you're looking for.

What do you mean by "Messianic tracks"? Shalom, Reuel Reuel, I believe she means instrumental versions of popular messianic songs that can be used to perform. Some artists will sell tracks of their music, others won't. Shalom, Yitzchak

Ah yes, I have dealt with this problem. There are not enough worship books to accompany Messianic music artist's music out there. Paul Wilbur has done some, and few others have also put out an accompanying book or two. But, I believe Messianic music leaders should do much more to make it easier to use their anointed music in Synagogues everywhere to the glory of Adonai. I actually have written about twenty Messianic worship songs that I will hopefully soon record in the near future. When I do, I will make at least the guitar chords available for all of the songs so congregations and home fellowships may play them.
Shalom b'Yeshua,
Reuel

Shalom b'Yeshua, Reuel The bigger problem is for those congregation who do not have talented instrumentalists. We have had to use CD's when there is no guitar, or keyboard player. Thus the importance of having some messianic tracks that talented singers can use to lead worship. Shalom, Yitzchak

Agreed. Having inspired live worship leaders makes a big difference when it comes to worship in the Shabbat service. We had this same problem for a while. We prayed for worship leaders and it turned out the Father gave me the talents to sing and play the guitar (have written about 20 new Messianic songs and produced 17 of them). Also, since we have been praying The Father has sent guitar players, a piano player, singers, violin player, flute player and drummers! May our Heavenly Father send you people whom can take on this yoke.
Shalom achi,
Reuel
