Please share your favorite messianic music with us, or any C.D.'s you reccommend. One of my favorites is Jonathan Settel...how about you?

Dear Reuel,
I have quite a few traditional and modern hebrew tracks which pertain to pesach ect which I could send you in an email. I'm not sure how big the file would be but I'm sure it could handle a few at a time.
Maybe we could be able to play them from this site? There is also a nice track with the sounds and names of the shofar as a learning aid which I would be happy to send you.
Kind Regards
Lisa

I see. Yes, perhaps you can e-mail them to me and I can upload them to the web and I could post a link here on the forum for people to access.
Todah b'Yeshua,
Reuel

I am hoping to pick up ideas for messianic music. I have been out of the fellowship circle for a long time. I listen to the old messianic music of Lamb which I have known since I was 16. I would like some suggestions. Sincerely, Lynda

I love the music of Lamb! In regards to some Messianic music that I would reccomend...I think that a good place to start is a CD that gives you a variety of different artists such as the Heart for Israel Worship CD1. Here is a link if you would like to pick up a copy: www.worshipmusic.com/7779700072.htmlI have very much enjoyed this CD. Shalom, Reuel

I would like some suggestions. Sincerely, Lynda Linda, me too! me too! I used to listen to Lamb until the old cassettes were all old and stretched. That was just after I came to know the L-rd, when I was 17. It was so great, and I'm sure it planted the seed that grew to be a hunger for the Jewish roots, plus love for Israel and above all for the Messiah. I recently got a new CD of all the old Lamb songs, and it all came flooding back. "Have you ever heard, Messiah has come...It says in His word to cleanse every one.." Praise G-d for Joel Chernoff for gifting him and paving the way for messianic worship. As for now, I am listening to Heart of Israel Internet Radio, to get an idea of what is current.

Reuel, I meant to include you too in the post about Lamb. I really like the original Lamb songs the best. It strikes a really deep cord with me. Sacrifice Lamb is one of them, and there is one called Yerushalym Descending. I absolutely get such a high from that one. It somehow makes me long for that day when the struggle will be over, and we see the Holy City descending, as a bride adorned for her husband.
When I was 17 and had just come to know Adonai, I listened to Lamb all the time. Typical teenager, with loud music blaring from the bedroom, but it had that Jewish sound. My parents are fairly conventional people. I think they thought I had gotten involved in some weird sect, because I listened to this music. LOL.
20 plus years later, and I'm still listening to it! A lot of water under the bridge since then.
