Hi, I've been following the Terri Schiavo case very closely. I am appalled at what is taking place. I can't believe this is really happening. Why aren't more people afraid of what is taking place here. This is murder!!!! This is inhumane.

So who are the so-called human non-persons? All embryos and fetuses, to be sure. But many bioethicists also categorize newborn infants as human non-persons (although some bioethicists refer to healthy newborns as “potential persons”). So too are those with profound cognitive impairments such as Terri Schiavo and President Ronald Reagan during the latter stages of his Alzheimer’s disease.

Personhood theory would reduce some of us into killable and harvestable people. Harris wrote explicitly that killing human non-persons would be fine because “Non-persons or potential persons cannot be wronged” by being killed “because death does not deprive them of something they can value. If they cannot wish to live, they cannot have that wish frustrated by being killed.”

This is where some people are trying to push our country. Day by day the sins of this country are being filled up closer and closer to the judgment zone. May G’d have mercy on us.

Hitler refered to such people as "Useless Eaters" and we all know where that led, Does America want to head down the same slippery slope? You can't say it is inconceivable, History testifies................................It's possible that this could lead to harvesting an "untapped" resource, human organs. Thats what is already being tried with aborted children,ie; the harvesting of stem cells. This could be OUR holocaust , it IS our holocaust. Think of the number of children that have been sacrificed since Roe vs Wade, an entire generation.

...Colorado's Supreme Court has thrown out a convicted killer's death sentence because jurors consulted the Bible during deliberations. The court said the Bible passages, including the verse that commands "eye for eye, tooth for tooth," could influence a typical juror to vote for death instead of life imprisonment. The justices ordered Robert Harlan to serve life in prison without parole. Jurors had sentenced Harlan to die for raping and murdering a thingytail waitress in 1994. Defense attorneys challenged the sentence after discovering five jurors had looked up Bible verses, copied some of them down, and then talked about them behind closed doors.
