"August 16th is the deadline for evacuation of Gaza settlements under Prime Minister Ariel Sharon's plan for unilateral engagement. Settlers are threatening an "apocalyptic showdown" and leaders are preparing for what is being called "the fight of their life." (Jerusalem Post, June 14, 2004)

This scheduled evacuation will take place over the summer, (along with) the Jewish observance of Tisha B'Av (the 9th of Av) which marks the day of destruction of both the first and Second Temples as well as the expulsion of Jews from Spain."

Please be in fervent prayer that G-d will have HIS way in this -- that HIS plans will be executed in this decision: not the plans of man or governments or religions -- HIS divine plans!

and please pray that the people of Israel be blessed and protected by Him at this crucial time in history!
