Is it hard to learn Hebrew? Seeming as it is the sacred tongue and the original text of the holy word, I thought it would be beneficial for me to learn, and was hoping for some advice . . .
I am a gentile, but would be glad to convert so long as I could still believe in Yeshua so I could be considered an Authentic Jewish Woman and not feel like a poser . . .if that were the only way to learn it-- like from a rabbi or something . . .
But seeming as those who wrote the new testament were Jewish, depite the fact that they wrote in Greek they thought in Hebrew did they not? so it would be safe to revert to Hebrew when studying the entire bible, right?
Plus thngs get lost in translation it would be good to learn real Hebrew

Shalom achiot (sister), Yes, I highly encourage you to learn Hebrew! It will definitely enrich your understanding of the scriptures and will help you draw closer to Adonai. If you visit our Synagogue website there is a great Hebrew Learning resource. Click on the Hebrew button to find it: www.chavurathamashiach.comShavua tov, Reuel
