They wouldn't talk much about it, but I got that they believed they were part of some grand pyramid scheme for gods. They'd get a planet to rule and sign up more little gods who were their line, but still part of their own god's upline type of thing. Found this old discussion and thought I would comment. I am a lifetime fifth-generation Seventh-day Adventist for 60 years and I never heard of such a thing. Glad you corrected me on it. The information was in a pamphlet at the office of a friend who was Adventist. He didn't really want to discuss it, so I let the matter drop. I did find out a couple of years later that this church was targeted by a sort of cult which had apparently sprung up from within the SDA church, so it could have been something from them. They don't talk about this much either. I went to a "Revelation Seminar" with him, and it turned out to be this splinter group, which I am sure he didn't know or he wouldn't have took me to it. Dan C

It is true that some of Seventh Day Adventist member are antisemitic, this is strange to me to keep the Sabbath and to be antisemitic I was shocked to find out that could be a antisemitic Adventist. But in my cvountry the majority of Seventh Day Adventist member are not antisemitic. It is true that in Adventist believe Michael is Jesus, but this is not very important for me, the problem for me is that Adventist church want to ordinate female pastor, and when this will happen I will leave my church.

Actually Michael being Yeshua is a HUGE problem, as it is an attack on the deity of Yeshua. If that is what they believe, I'd leave.
I'd leave too if they placed women pastors in charge of churches, but that is a small thing compared to challenging the deity of YHVH.
And if they ARE actually saying we can become gods ourselves, getting our own planet to rule, then they are attacking the eternal deity of everything YHVH is!
Anti-Semitism is a good reason to leave anything, especially a church!
