shalom every one, here's a brief sketch of my testimony: i have always believed in God for as long as i can recall (About 1 1/2 - 2 years of age). when i was 12 it came to my heart to seek God, and i went to church and became born again. however that church didn't encourage me to read scripture or to have a prayer life, so i went out into the world, so to speak. when i was 16 i stumbled across a church that was "on fire" for God, and i got deeply involved. however, when i was 18-19 something happened in the church i was attending to make me question it and my salvation and even Yeshua (i knew Him as Jesus then). it was aired on a national program called 48 hours, here are a couple of links to what happened and about this church group: (i should mention that the people of this group aren't necessarily unsaved, but they did have errors in their teachings and "governing" of the church that caused alot of people pain) www.rickross.com/reference/door/door34.htmlwww.rickross.com/groups/door.htmlso as a result, i went through alot of mental anguish and depression. knowing about having a Jewish parent, i went to synagogue to discover, not just God, but myself. Yeshua was always there, and when i was 27 i returned to Him, but a little broken, under alot of self-condemnation, but determined to find out on my own who this Jesus guy was, and what He had to do with me being Jewish. and after much study and prayer and seeking, it hasn't been until recent months that i have been whole-hearted in being Messianic and living according to observance, i am now 37. Shaul/Paul didn't even spend that much time in Arabia. Shalom v'Chesed b'Yeshua, Yochanan
