I have been reading here and enjoying your exchanges, so I thought I would ask to be allowed to sign in as a member.
It is requested that we tell about ourselves.
Well, first, I love the L-rd. He has been my my G-d, my Savior, my Teacher, best Friend, my Guide, All that is most important to me. He has blessed me beyond anything I could imagine, far beyond anything I could deserve, because I earned nothing from Him but hell. But being the good G-d He is, He gave me so much more in this life and continues giving. Incredible.
I am first a believer; second, I am Messianic. I attend a wonderful shul where the Word is strongly taught and where integrity in the Word and our lives is the standard. But I am not a scholar; I am a student with much to learn.
I love debate, but only when it is both productive and friendly, and I learn from it. (I dislike arguments profoundly.) Debate is the tool my husband and I use to learn the Bible and to unlearn errant cultic doctrine we were both taught for over 50 years.
I am the mother to two of my own adult children and two adult stepchildren, a grandmother to nine. Most of all these are serving the L-rd or are too young to have made that commitment.
I work for my husband's church, where my boss, the pastor, is more interested in assuring my holy days off and my freedom of religion than he is in keeping the church's usual status quo.
Blessed? You bet I'm blessed.
