Hi, I'm from Creswick (small country town population 3000) in Australia and I need to be among brethren to worship YHWH in His set-apart convocations. This is hard when isolated in a community that doesn't recognize YHWH. I need to grow through the sharing of those who have been given much. I'm hungry for God's food.

YHWH has been exceptionally kind to me to His glory. We moved to be near my husband's family and shortly after that my husband's Dad died and then a few months later my husband died and we were a widow and fatherless children in a strange place and my husband's surviving family moved and life insurance took too long to pay so we lost the house. Then my Dad died ... all this since 2000. I turned to churches but they rejected me because they hold teachings of rejecting widows under 60 and say their families can embrace them. I read the gospels and because of what Yeshua said and did in them I turned to the God of Israel and He comforted me and has been leading me joyfully into -keeping. This has led to being cut off by family ... so much for the notion that family will embrace widows under 60 and of course Yeshua spoke Truth and said we will lose family and they will be enemies ... but we love our enemies

Please bear with me a little longer. I accept and respect how different people see things differently but unless people have been in this situation, they cannot imagine the untold harm that some teachings cause. Yeshua said that after he ascended nobody would see him until everybody sees him so if anyone claims to see him in a limited geographic location then don't believe them or follow them. I believe this so I simply reject and avoid the words of any person who claims to have seen Yeshua after his ascension and I would appreciate people sharing Tanach or gospel teachings or letters from confirmed eye-witnesses to the life ministry of Yeshua (since that was a requirement of authorized apostles) with me and avoid sharing or promoting me to accept alternatives. For me it's like there is a tree of life that I crave and then there's an alternative tree that has mixed fruit of good and evil and I don't want to eat any of that tree. I accept people sharing alternatives with others and I'll respectfully avoid those discussions and parts of forum. I also accept the eye-witnessed accounts that Peter was apostle to the Gentiles.

I hope I have not offended anyone and I ask your forgiveness if I have but I needed to be honest about my situation and boundaries. It is Yeshua who leads us to the Father and I enjoy and appreciate his simple food and it is enough to learn to be like him which is what I desire to learn more of here.

Glad you have found this site as it has answered so many of my questions about the and walking in the commandments of G-d (which I did not know as I was brought up in the church.) I am saddened to hear about what happened to you and hope that you will be renewed day by day by the Spirit.
I personally have never heard of anyone other than a televangelist claim to see Yeshua but maybe that is the circles I frequent. Anyway, I wouldnt believe that claim either. I think you are on the right track there. May you grow closer to G-d through studing here! B

It's wonderful to have a new sister here. I hope you will find us all to be helpful in your walk with Yeshua.
So, essentially, you're saying that you reject the works of Sha'ul, correct? I am not as opposed to this as a lot of people are because I believe the Psalmist when he says "your is perfect." So, to me, even though I believe the teachings of Sha'ul are canonical, there is nothing there that cannot be gleaned from the rest of Scripture.
But, I would like to say that I have studied Paul's writings at some length, and have not found any false teachings. What I do find to be true are the words of Peter, "And account the long suffering of the Lord to be redemption; as also our beloved brother Paul, according to the wisdom conferred on him, wrote to you; as also in all his epistles, speaking in them of these things, in which there is something difficult to be understood; [and] which they who are ignorant and unstable, pervert, as they do also the rest of the scriptures, to their own destruction." II Peter 3:15-16 (Murdock)
I just looked to make certain I hadn't missed anything before, but I didn't see where it said that no one would see Him until all see Him. Not only that, but Acts 9 never claims that anyone saw Yeshua. What it does claim is that Sha'ul saw a bright light, and that he and his retainers heard a voice.
