Hi brothers and sisters!
My name is Alice and I have been lurking for quite some time. I have meant to introduce myself earlier but was finishing up the end of the college year and have been really busy. I am a mother to 2 great kids and just went back to school 2 years ago!
I was raised Baptist and attended a Baptist Christian school. I hit teenage years and left the church and my relationship with Hashem. When I was in my early 20's I had a dream that demons were chasing me (I thought) but realized they were chasing my children. I woke up and realized the great mistake I was making in not teaching my own children the love of the Father. I brought a Bible right away and devoured it cover to cover ALONE. No commentaries, teachers, parents. I had a lot of questions no pastor could answer to my satisfaction. We kept attending a church but were NOT happy. SO...I discovered that there were people that believed the way I was interpreting the Scriptures and they were Messianic. I found a very small Messianic group that is full of passion for G-d that meet on Sat. (Yay)I have a lot to learn but it is like reading the Word for the first time, so exciting! Things make sense now, I feel like pieces missing from the puzzle have been found!
My son is entering high school and I have found a wonderful Nondenominational Christian school. They understand we are Messianic and respect when he is kept out of things on Sabbaths, and Feasts. My 3rd grade daughter is being home-schooled for the first time this year.
