Gentleness please ~ my 30+ years of active christianity has recently been smashed to pieces ~ a terrible and wonderful thing.
I don't know where to start to explain ~ but from what i have seen here on this forum ~ I praise ADONAI that this is His work and draw comfort in seeing others in this place of beginning as well.
I have much to learn and UNlearn.

I have much to learn and UNlearn. Pammie, First welcome to the forums. You will find that we are all in process, and most gentle with each other, especially with newcomers. We have all been there. I for one, raised in Orthodox Judaism, came to Messiah in a church, became a Christian Pastor, was the Rav Shaul of Messianic Judaism (persecuted the MJ's as a Christian), and now find myself as a Messianic Rabbi. What a paradigm shift. You are in the process now of having your paradigm shifted from Christianity to Messianic Judaism, or what I like to call true Biblical Judaism. The Judaism practiced by Yeshua, and all of his followers. Jump right in with any questions, or comments. Check out my paraphrase, Mt 12:43 "When the unclean spirit has gone out of a man, (When Yeshua dumps the garbage/false witness) he(unclean spirit) passes through waterless places seeking rest, but he finds none. 44 Then he says, ‘I will return to my house from which I came.’ ( beware he find it empty of  ) And when he comes he finds it empty, swept, and put in order. 45 Then he goes and brings with him seven other spirits more evil than himself, and they enter and dwell there; and the last state of that man becomes worse than the first. So shall it be also with this evil generation." Make sure there is no room for even one unclean spirit. When we start to drag back into our holy place all those old comfortable shoes and beds, their foul smell comes back with them! Keep it clean/holy. Old addage; "Bad habits are like a comfortable bed, easy to get into, but hard to get out of." Mazel Tov. |
