My name is Benjamin, but you can call me "Deafeye" hehe... I got invited here by a friend at CARM thank you, and I'm a gentile... I think... somewhere in my ancestry I have Jewish lineage but its so mixed up, right now I'm not really sure. Anyway, that's not important, I've been a believer in Yeshua for about 2 1/2 years now. I'm 19 years old an I attend Full Sail Real World Education and I'm working toward my associate in Recording Arts. That means music is more of my job now that a hobby. I do read the Bible a lot, and of course I'm trying to keep the as best as possible, although I'm still learning. I dont eat pig anymore for sure, so that was a hard one. I got my mom to buy turkey ham and I try to look for Kosher meats whenever I can find them.
Anyway, I'm writing a paper right now for a Mormon forum, so maybe you can help me guys. I am writing a prophetic time-line to show that Ha-Shem cannot be the god of Moromonism... Mormons believe in the literal gathering of Israel, although I'm still trying to find out what exactly that means in their incredibly bizarre religion. How a anyone with an education can convert from Judaism to a religion that teaches against the teachings of the Christian church, says you must keep their commandments to be saved, be baptized in water, have hands laid upon you... then they tell you that god is an exalted man, who has a body of flesh and bones, who has a father who has a father who has a father... ad infinitum... is beyond me. Only a Jew with serious psychiatric problems and/or lack of self esteem and a serious desire for acceptance could convert to mormonism....
Anyway, sorry for the sarcasm... but that's me. Nice to meet you all.
Shalom,
Deafeye
