I'd always told myself I'd get a round to reading the Bible in the original languages one of these days. Last fall I picked up a local arts & entertainment magazine & saw and ad for a course on how to read the Hebrew alphabet. Best of all the course was free! When I started to read short prayers and Bible verses I felt more connected to God than I'd ever felt in my whole life. I wanted more, so onto the internet I went. To cut a long story short, I found a messianic congregation right here in my own backyard with the click of a mouse. I started going in May. During the the services, the presence of the Holy Spirit is so intense it's almost palpable. I haven't experienced that in a house of worship of any sort in a very long time.

Firestorm,
Welcome to the forums. We look forward to your future posts, and hope to learn and grow together in Messiah.
It is wonderful to hear that you have found a Messianic congregation, and that you have felt such a strong presence of the Ruach HaKodesh.
May you continue to be blessed.
Shalom,
Yitzchak
