I'm a born again (40+ years) Gentile, Orthodox Trinitarian but some consider me heterdox re eschatology. I believe the school of Hillel, particularly its classification of mankind into three groups: The Righteous; The Middling; The Wicked, allows for Hades to be a place where unbelievers (both Jew and Gentile) can be judged and given a chance to believe and be saved. That's just the tip of the proverbial iceberg. "Classic eschatology" (Catholic) has much to learn from the Pharisees.
Christ called some of their teaching, "treasure":
Then He said to them, "Therefore every scribe instructed concerning the kingdom of heaven is like a householder who brings out of his treasure things new and old." (Matt. 13:52 NKJ)
Paul's writings were influenced by the school of Hillel:
"I am indeed a Jew, born in Tarsus of Cilicia, but brought up in this city at the feet of Gamaliel, taught according to the strictness of our fathers' law, and was zealous toward God as you all are today. (Acts 22:3 NKJ)
At my site I discuss this and other topics:
Redacted
I love to discuss everything Scriptural.
Shalom

Hot, cold and luke warm: God seems to have a dislike for the luke warm i.e. those who mix hot(Godly/law abiding) with the cold(un-godly/law breakers).

I love to discuss everything Scriptural. Shalom I had to remove your link for violation of the rules:

I your case it teaches Christian doctrine, which is also a violation. We welcome questions, however teaching doctrines other than MJ is not allowed. I do not have time now- late for an appointment. But if you have questions, PM me and I'll get back to you later.

I love to discuss everything Scriptural. Shalom Hello, and welcome to the forum. We welcome Christians here, but in order to maintain decorum on the forum we cannot allow teaching Christian theology. You may however ask questions of what we believe and why.
I am sorry to have had to remove your link, but it does go against our rules. If you have not yet read them, please do so. Makes it easier on everyone (especially that moderator feller).
Yeshua likely was a Pharisee Himself, at least until He started His own ministry and taught Torah as it should be taught. He agreed with the Pharisees on most (but not all) things.
Rabban Gamaliel the Eder was a grandson of Hillel the Elder. It is entirely possible (scholars differ in their opinions) that Gamaliel taught Yeshua. Rabbonim were always on the lookout for exceptional students, and Yeshua would have been marked as uch sin He was 12 because of His conversations in the Temple during Pesach.
At any rate, glad to have you here.
Dan
