I am trying to find all Scriptures in which Jesus actually said we will pay for our sins, can you guys help please? Here are a few most don't think about: Luke 20:46-47 “Beware of the scribes, who like to walk around in long robes, and love greetings in the marketplaces and the best seats in the synagogues and the places of honor at feasts, who devour widows' houses and for a pretense make long prayers. They will receive the greater condemnation.”
Luke 18:14b ... For everyone who exalts himself will be humbled, but the one who humbles himself will be exalted.”
Luke 6:24-26 “But woe to you who are rich, for you have received your consolation. “Woe to you who are full now, for you shall be hungry. “Woe to you who laugh now, for you shall mourn and weep. “Woe to you, when all people speak well of you, for so their fathers did to the false prophets.
Luke 16:25 But Abraham said, ‘Child, remember that you in your lifetime received your good things, and Lazarus in like manner bad things; but now he is comforted here, and you are in anguish.
Matthew 16:4 An evil and adulterous generation seeks for a sign, but no sign will be given to it except the sign of Jonah.” So he left them and departed.
Matthew 6:14-15 For if you forgive others their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you, but if you do not forgive others their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.
Matthew 23:1-39 ...
Matthew 18:21-35

Thanks. I think Matthew 6:14 might be the clearest or most direct one. I think it's words like these from MK 16
Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved;
is why most christians think that all one needs to do in order to be saved is to believe in Christ, that they don't have to obey any commandments. Adding to that "all sins are forgiven, past, present and future" tops it off along with the "nailed to the cross" concept which is their mantra.
