The Zohar says in 4:175b the following; When a man steps down from his bed, he should say to himself: "Guard thy feet when thou walkest." To this, Rabbi Ya'akov responds with the following: Yes indeed, when any man, any woman, no matter what age, steps down from his or her bed, those words "Guard my feet when I walk" reflect wisdom. When talking about "walk" we can refer to our "Halakhah" our "faith walk". That may Adonai guard our steps, where we go, and guard our testimony, so we will always reflect a positive testimony for Yeshua, and if we are to stumble and fall, we need to confess our sin, no matter how little, (and not conceal it) Every morning is a new day. It is a new day to be a good witness. May Adonai guide our steps always, and may our faith walk be pleasing to YHVH. Moderator note: Zohar is the foundation for Kaballah. It is Jewish mysticism. Not sure if R Ya'akov here is commenting in the text or from outside Zohar. Ein Ya'akov is normally found in Talmudic midrashim, and in both points of view which here agree there may be profound truths. We must however be careful when reading Zohar, as those truths can also hide some very wrong (and often just plain weird) doctrines. I must place a warning about the "truths" found in Zohar whenever I see such a post: theloveofgod.proboards.com/thread/5198/zohar
