This topic has always intrigued me from day one. The first thing I am thinking though is I need to differentiate between who is bad person vs who is a good person who did something wrong?
Jacob and Rebecca were not bad people but they did wrong and God blessed them. Aaron built the Golden Calf which was an abomination yet God chose him to be his head Priest. Was Rahab a bad person or a good person living a bad lifestyle?

Was Rahab a bad person or a good person living a bad lifestyle? Not sure why you crossed out half your post, but ...Romans 8:28 (NASB) And we know that God causes all things to work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose.
We can't know the hearts of others. But we do know that in repentance there is redemption, and we can only judge others by their actions. But when we do, we should try our best to make right judgements. Don't just go by the last thing they did; instead consider all their past actions (whenever possible). We've all been "that person," the good guy who just did something bad. Remember that when anger over some slight compels us to judge someone as bad. Not that people can't turn bad, but most don't.

I didn't purposely cross out those lines, it just appeared that way after I posted.
Well, was Hitler a good person? If Jesus or you or I could have killed baby Hitler, would we have done so?
My intent for this is to look for bad people in the Bible whom God had used to do his works, like Paul but Paul repented. I will do some research on if God had used anyone else who never repented but God used them anyway..

Right, so I think it's safe to assume that God does use evil for good as in the case of Joesph's brothers and purposely hardening Phaoroh's heart.
As for using bad people for his works, God used crooked Jeroboam II and Nebuchadnezzar to straighten out His people’s problems.
