This just in from the parent synagogue:Baruch HaShem!!
Now, this is good news...for the Good News! Congregations, it is time to open. Our President has our back, and is officially supporting our religious and 1st amendment rights! He has officially deemed houses of worship as “essential” under the 1st amendment, and is ordering governors to allow congregations to able to openly meet, and has said that if governors do not allow it, or gives them trouble...that he will override their actions. So, whether or not we misunderstood Romans 13, or not, we are all ready to go! President Trump as confirmed what has been true all along. HalleluYah!!

I just want to add a note here; and I know I am preaching to the choir, but here goes:
We are hearing a lot about "freedom" and "rights" these days. But responsibility always seems to get lost in the rhetoric and taking sides. With freedom comes both legal and moral responsibilities, and a system based on individual freedom and liberties can only work in a morally responsible society. Yes, we have the right to meet in our congregations. And I believe it is past time to put the country back to work. And without government controls. But this all works only as long as we as individuals act responsibly.
We need to stop shaming those who still choose to wear masks. In fact, if at all possible we all need to still keep taking precautions. At least respect others when they do. If asked to maintain a distance, politely do so. But suggesting the Vietnam veteran (or anyone) who still wears a mask is a coward for doing so is as idiotic as it is rude.
I am “at risk” for several categories, and I do take precautions when I think them necessary. On the other hand, I attended an event for a friends ministry to the homeless, and I did not wear mask or gloves. It was outside and a good breeze was blowing, so I didn’t even keep my distance. But I made the determination the risk was worth it. We went into a grocery store on the way back however and I did wear a mask. Inside, crowds, not all the people respectful to others- it’d be crazy if I didn’t take precautions.
So as things open up let’s remember our moral obligations to each other. This is likely to be with us a long time. Let’s treat each other with the compassion Yeshua showed, respecting the rights of others as we exercise our own.

Especially as we are drawing close to Shavuot (the Feast of Pentecost), which commemorates the giving of the Torah to the people of Yisra'el, and the covenant giving of the Ruach Hakodesh (Holy Spirit) establishing the Torah on the heart of God's people, we should all be drawing closer and closer to the Torah. The Torah itself makes it clear that a Torah life can only be lived out in community. Knowing this, in our day HaSatan has struck the very core of establishing the Torah in Adonai's congregation. Many have been torn and confused as to whether or not we should obey God when it comes to coming together for the holy convocation He has commanded, to come together to pray, to study, and to generally observe the Torah in the midst of the assembly, or to obey men who tell us not to. As we draw close to Chag HaShavuot (The Feat Of Pentecost) I offer the following teaching exhorting all believers to encourage them unto the love and good mitzvot that the scriptures speak of.
