I was doing a word search on salvation...and then translating it to those scriptures that used the word directly with a reference to G-d.
There is a nice bit in 1 Chronicles that is very apt.
1 Chronicles 16:34-36 (JPS1917) 34 O give thanks unto the LORD; for He is good; for His mercy endureth for ever. 35 And say ye: 'Save us, O God of our salvation, and gather us together and deliver us from the nations, that we may give thanks unto Thy holy name, that we may triumph in Thy praise.' 36 Blessed be the LORD, the God of Israel, from everlasting even to everlasting. And all the people said: 'Amen,' and praised the LORD.
'Save us, O G-d of our Salvation' translates in a way that we cannot mistake it.
Save us, O God of our salvation הִצִּילוּ אוֹתָנוּ, אֱלֹהִים שֶׁל יְשׁוּעָתֵנוּ hitziylu otanu, 'elohiym shel y'shuatenu
And if one simply looks at the same concept as 'L-rd our Salvation', as a title, one ends with a marvelous statement of praise to meditate upon:
L-rd our salvation אֲדֹנָי יְשׁוּעָתֵנוּ adonai y'shuatenu
It is also so comforting to simply see Yeshua's name everywhere one looks.
