Just in from the parent synagogue:
We would like to wish all of our friends and family a joyous and thankful Feast Of Thanksgiving. We would also like to say how thankful we are for all of you. Adonai has done so many wonderful things for us, our families, and for our country. What a blessing to live in a country where we can freely come together to give thanks and give glory to our great God and King. And, how thankful should we be that Adonai has given us such a wonderful Messiah and King; Yeshua.
T’hillim (Psalms) 86:8-13 says, “There is none like you among the gods, HaShem; no deeds compare with yours. All the nations you have made will come and bow before you, Adonai; they will honor your name. For you are great, and you do wonders; you alone are God. HaShem, teach me your way, so that I can live by your truth; make me single-hearted, so that I can fear your name. I will thank you, HaShem my God, with my whole heart; and I will glorify your name forever. For your grace toward me is so great! You have rescued me from the lowest part of Sh'ol”.
A few years ago I created a siddur for Thanksgiving that some may be interested in using. It includes some interesting history relating to Thanksgiving and our people Yisra’el. It also includes a few songs of thanksgiving and some short prayers to help us give thanks to Adonai. You may download it at the following link: www.synagoguechm.com/Thanksgiving_Siddur_linear.pdf
