TeNaKh Talk Study e-mail1This is just a reminder that our TeNaKh Talk study day has changed and is now on Mondays. Join your community today from 6pm-8pm for this in-depth weekly study to learn more about the Word of God, to hide it in your heart, and to also share what you have learned. And, if you have children, bring them! This is a great opportunity to fulfill the Sh’ma, which exhorts us to diligently teach our children Adonai’s . Our congregation is currently observing a 3-year reading cycle. You can download a copy of this 3-year reading schedule at the following link:

The word "TeNaKh" is an acronym for the three Hebrew words; ", Nevi'im, and K’tuvim", translated to mean, ", Prophets, and Writings". As a community our goal will be first and foremost to read the together to further hide it in our heart. After we read our parashah, we will discuss each portion in light of the rest of the and in the light of the Prophets and Writings, including the K’tuvay Sh’lichim (Apostolic Writings). This week we are reading through parshat Vaiyeilech and are in D’varim (Deuteronomy) 31:1-13.
Afterwards, we will study through the "K’tuvay Sh'lichim" (Apostolic Writings) going verse by verse and chapter by chapter with the goal that we will more fully comprehend the current and future fulfillments of the Brit Chadashah (New Covenant) spoken of in Yirm’yahu (Jer.) 31:31 and in Yechez’kel (Ezek.) 36:26. Furthermore, a diligent study of the K’tuvay Sh'lichim shows us in detail what the Brit Chadashah is, what it means to be a disciple of our Rabbi Yeshua, and what it looks like to have the written on our hearts. This week we are reading through and discussing the book of 2 Timothy chp. 4.
