Throughout the writings of the early church fathers, hatred of the Jews is virulently showcased. This, unfortunately runs like an undercurrent in all Christian churches today; and is evident as a riptide in many of our churches. Our colleges teach tolerance of Islam while attacking Judaism and, sadly encouraging physical violence against Jewish students. And in Europe, home of Nazi collaboration in large part because many agreed with their 'Final Solution,' things are as bad as ever. I just got this from Olivier Melnick, French Jew who accepted Christ as a Dispensationalist Christian. He is now coordinator for the Pacific Northwest Region of Chosen People Ministries. I worked to sponsor him speaking at the AoG here when I was still with them. Here is an excerpt:
During one of my recent trips to France, I witnessed how deeply anti-Semitism runs in the French soil. It was a realization that it exists even in the body of Messiah.
I had been invited to speak at a conference and the theme of my message was "Zionism a controversial topic." Little did I know how controversial it would end up being. When I opened the floor up for Q & A's, I was insultd by a man who later claimed that he was a believer. He called me a liar and deceiver who knows nothing about Jewish history. His friend added that when Jesus returns, "He will get rid of all the Jews!" ... France is a hotbed of anti-Semitism and is no longer safe for Jewish people. Frankly, I wouldn't even know where to send a new Jewish believer for fellowship.
Now remember, this man converted from Judaism to Christianity. So he isn't talking about trying to locate scarce fellowships like Messianic believers. He is talking about there being no mainstream Christian congregations that would be safe for a Jew to attend even if he were to convert. That is . But it is where we are headed if we do not speak up for Jews and for Israel whenever we hear anti-Semitism preached or taught or just stated in casual conversation. Hatred of God's people is as old as they are. It dates back to Adam, long before there were ever any Jews. But he was God's, and ha'satan hated him because of it. And he hates you and me more than even the evangelicals who by and large think they are not anti-Semitic, but support the Jews; because we are obedient, and teach others to be obedient. So stand up now, or face persecution later.

edit: Christians do require Jews to convert to join their assemblies. True Messianics do not- Jews retain their Jewishness in every way (except acceptance by other Jews and by Christians). Just so there is no confusion on my use of the term here.
