Shalom beloved, my nic name is Lou. I am a mother of 3. Homeschooling n careing for home n husband. I met my husband of 15 years in Israel. We live a joyful n blessed life in texas close to my parents. We are new at being mj's as we were raised as Christians. Born again n walking in the spirit. Leaving behind the pagan roots of our past religion n seeking the purest way to please G-d n serve Him well. Many blessings n joy from heaven to all who visit this forum.

Tejas! I was born in Brownwood, and used to live in walking distance of the Mesquite rodeo grounds back when it was all still rural (which probably dates me, but oh well). Good to have someone from "home" here on the forum.
I hope we can help in your walk as Meshiachim as we share insights and experiences here.
Check out the archives here, as there is a LOT of good information. Feel free to revive any old threads (we actually prefer this to starting new threads on the same topic as it keeps the forum better organized). Ask questions, share insights, and discuss experiences (good or bad; or just joyful). We are a community here, primarily for those who have no GOOD Messianic synagogues or study groups (and I stress that as there are a lot of charlatans out there trying to say they are MJ). I am extremely fortunate to have access to two good Rabbis (Rav S where I attend at Synagogue Beit Aveinu, and I am about two hours from R. Reuel here at the forums parent synagogue, Synagogue Chavurat HaMashiach). However I originally had to do this on my own, so I know how difficult it can be. I hope you have somewhere reasonably close you can visit or attend, but if not we are here to help.
I am happy your spouse is also MJ, as it will make this journey much easier and much more enjoyable for you both.

You bless me with your time n leadership n warm tejas welcome?  ... yes there are 3 good synagogues in our area beit or, Baruch Hashem which we are attending now and seeking to visit a third Eitz Chaim which I hear is more spiritual in nature like we are. Before becoming Mj, we were both in church leadership as (youth pastor, deliverence ministers n healing ministry )our entire life together. Ordained at Christ for the nations and then attended DBU. Life in the word is one big adventure n im loving it/Him... |
