I am currently using a Jewish Publication Society (JPS) Study Bible for most of my studies and commentary in the TNK. However I'd like to get a different version before the next round of Par'sha's start. Does anyone have any suggestions as to an English translation of the TNK and some good study notes? I want a Jewish perspective in the commentary because Christian commentators have too much bad doctrine, and I have several Christian commentaries already anyhow.
A Jewish commentary without Biblical text would be even better if you know of one.
Thanks.

Well, I ordered the one referenced above, Artscroll's "The Stone Edition" of the TNK. The notes are few and disappointing, but the book itself is very nice. The par'shas and haftara readings are clearly delineated. The text is in Hebrew on the right page and English on the left. It reads right to left as well. I'd recommend a good interlinear TNK if you are using it to learn Hebrew; and my JPS Study TNK has far more commentary. But if you want a TNK that looks good on the shelf next to your Siddur, this might be a good one to purchase if you can find a deal on it. I don't regret getting it (it does look good next to my Artscroll Siddur ), but I can't really recommend it for much unless you just want a nice basic TNK.
