I was on a YouTube and there was a man who called himself an isrealite and the bible he recommended was The Scripture. Has anyone read this and is it a good version? Thank you for any comments.

I have a copy of "The Scriptures" put out by the Institute for Scripture Research. It is a good translation, however has nothing to recommend it as far as being a better translation. Its main claim to being unique is it uses Hebrew names throughout: especially YHVH instead of "Lord" and the name Yeshua, both in Hebrew characters. The TNK is ordered as the Jewish version, not like the Bible Christians are used to. I wouldn't particularly recommend it, but wouldn't try to talk anyone out of it either. I would advise you spend some time looking at a copy before buying one, if you can. I use mine as a comparative reference, not as a primary carry or study Bible.

I would not recommend "The Scriptures" version as it spells Yeshua's name as "Yah-shua" - which many of those in the sacred name movement and Hebrew Roots movement believe Mashiach's name to be spelled but which is based on erroneous doctrine and no real knowledge of the Hebrew language.

Yes, that's right...it is in Hebrew characters but still spelled "יהשוע", the Hebrew spelling of "Yah-shua" instead of "ישוע", the correct spelling of Mashiach's name.
