Mark 3:17

From the B'rit Chadasha portion, in Mark 3:17 we find the name "Boanerges":

Mark 3:17 James the son of Zebedee and John the brother of James (to whom he gave the name Boanerges, that is, Sons of Thunder);

There is no such name or word in the Greek, therefore this must be a transliteration from the Hebrew. Possibly:

B'nei Regesh- sons of great emotions, or

B'nei Rogez- sons quick to anger

Poetically in the Greek style either one could be "sons of thunder".

Besides giving better insight to the character of these two brothers, this to me is just one more proof that the original language of the B'rith Chadasha is HEBREW!
