23. It is a negative commandment to entice no one in Jewry to worship an idol.
Devarim 13:6, 11 (OJB) 6 (13:7) If achicha (thy brother), the ben of thy em, or thy ben, or thy bat, or the eshet kheyk of thee (wife of thy bosom), or thy friend, which is as thine own nefesh, entice thee secretly, saying, Let us go and serve elohim acherim, which thou hast not known, thou, nor thy avot; … 11 (13:12) And kol Yisroel shall hear, and fear, and shall not again do such wickedness as this is among you.
Deuteronomy 13:7, 12 (TNK) 6, 11 (CJB) "If your brother, the son of your mother, or your son or your daughter or the wife you embrace or your friend who is as your own soul entices you secretly, saying, 'Let us go and serve other gods,'which neither you nor your fathers have known, … And all Israel shall hear and fear and never again do any such wickedness as this among you.
If anyone entices one person in Jewry to worship in idolatry, … he is to be stoned to death, even if neither the enticer nor the enticed person worshiped any idols – but [he deserves death] only because he instructed him to worship. An enticer needs no prior warning …

This is one we should all take to heart! We need to watch those areas where we may "innocently" lead someone into idolatry. Even tacit agreement when they read your (or their) horoscope, recognizing a Tarot card or even allowing them into your home or property; many things can lead others into idolatry and we don't even think of them as such. Eating where a portion of food was offered to Buddha, for example. Jew or Gentile; pagan, Christian, or Messianic; not a good thing to do.
