From “The Concise Book of Mitzvoth”:
Pretty straightforward. Except what of those of us whose spouses refuse the truth? There is no way my wife will go along with no leaven in the house, or even throwing out the leaven already here! So I just try not to eat any- but that isn’t as easy as throwing out the bread either. A LOT of foods you wouldn’t expect have leavening agents in them. Canned products often have yeast or baking soda. Saltine crackers have yeast- who’d a thunkit!?
Any other products you’ve found with leavening that you wouldn’t suspect?
How do some of you cope with this when spouses refuse to go along?
