So, could we then make the d'rash as Yeshua did that whoever helps another man helps the Messiah?
But what about helping the first on our shared journey, our Rabbi? Couldn't it as well be said that if we help the first in position we also help Yeshua? In fact, by helping him we would be helping the spread of the Good News.
Conversely if we hinder those in spiritual authority over us we could be said to be hindering God Himself- not the best way to position ourselves if we think about it. I've been guilty as the next person; probably I've vexed even those in authority here. We all have been guilty of this ("Oh! But I didn't do anything!" Sorry, but that can be the worst kind of vexation.) On the other hand:
Eph 4:30 Don't cause grief to God's Ruach HaKodesh, ... . This is just something I've been thinking on and it sort of fell into place while working on another thread. Thought I'd share it
