Proof of Yeshua - Bible Prophecies Fulfilled
Daniel's Prediction of the events of the life of Yeshua (Jesus Christ)
Please feel free to load the attachment.33 AD.doc (88.5 KB)
This prophecy was written while Israel had been taken captive to Babylon (modern day Iraq). The Jews were looking to God to show them when Israel would be restored. Consequently, they received an answer: “Seventy ‘sevens’ are decreed for your people and your holy city to finish transgression, to put an end to sin, to atone for wickedness, to bring in everlasting righteousness, to seal up vision and prophecy and to anoint the Most Holy Place.
“Know and understand this: From the time the word goes out to restore and rebuild Jerusalem until the Anointed One, the ruler, comes, there will be seven ‘sevens,’ and sixty-two ‘sevens.’ It will be rebuilt with streets and a trench, but in times of trouble. After the sixty-two ‘sevens,’ the Anointed One will be put to death and will have nothing.”
(Daniel 9:24-26)
This prophecy was brought about in the following way:
The command to build the temple was given in 444 BC (20th year of the reign of the King) The temple took 49 years to build (7 7’s which is the number of completion) 62 7’s later (62 x 7 years) the Anointed One would be killed.
The calculation works out like this:
Know and understand this: From the time the word goes out to restore and rebuild Jerusalem until the Anointed One, the ruler, comes, there will be seven ‘sevens,’ and sixty-two ‘sevens.’
(7 x 7) = 49 years, 62 x 7 = 434 years, total = 483 lunar (360 days) years (173880 days) 173880 days must then be converted to solar (365.25 days) years. This gives us 476 solar years.
The command to rebuild the temple was given in 444 BC, so, -444 BC + 476 years = 33 AD (not 32 AD, because 0 BC isn’t a year)
33 AD is known historically, and biblically as being the timeframe in which Jesus Christ was Crucified, so fulfilling the prophecy.
When was Jesus crucified?
• Johns Baptism of repentance took place about 29 AD
“In the fifteenth year of the reign of Tiberius Caesar—when Pontius Pilate was governor of Judea, Herod tetrarch of Galilee, his brother Philip tetrarch of Iturea and Traconitis, and Lysanias tetrarch of Abilene - during the high-priesthood of Annas and Caiaphas, the word of God came to John son of Zechariah in the wilderness. He went into all the country around the Jordan, preaching a baptism of repentance for the forgiveness of sins.” (Luke 3:1,2)
• The reign of Tiberius Caesar started on August 19, AD 14, which meant that the 15th year was about 29 AD.
If we understand that the same year John was preaching repentance was the same year that Jesus was baptized, then we can calculate from that year. “When all the people were being baptized, Jesus was baptized too. And as he was praying, heaven was opened and the Holy Spirit descended on him in bodily form like a dove. And a voice came from heaven: “You are my Son, whom I love; with you I am well pleased. Now Jesus himself was about thirty years old when he began his ministry.” (Luke 3:22,23)
• The ministry of Jesus lasted about 3 ½ years
According to Scripture, as well as History, Jesus was baptized, about 29-30 AD, being about 30 years old, and His ministry lasted about three and a half years (this is from the times and dates of the Jewish feasts which were celebrated according to a precise calendar based upon the moon phases etc – see Scriptures John 2:13, 6:4 etc)
So, 3 ½ years from about 29 AD, gives us a date of 32-33 AD (because late 29 AD would produce 33, whilst early would produce 32) If it was late AD, then a final date of about April or May 33 AD would be probable for the crucifixion. So, even differing dates, by about one year can still produce exactly the same year. Late (August etc) 29 AD + 3 ½ years = Early 33 AD (about March / April).
So, from Jesus Baptism 30 AD + 3 ½ years Ministry = 33 AD
In researching this information, and checking other calculations, one month and year, whatever the differences kept appearing – April 33 AD.
Solar Activity 33 AD
At noon, darkness came over the whole land until three in the afternoon. – Mark 15:33
Also, on a separate note, researchers have found that the year 33 AD corresponds to calculations based on solar eclipse information, when Jesus Christ was crucified.
The Astronomic Observatory Institute in Cluj, Romania claim to have pinpointed the exact time and date of Christ’s crucifixion and resurrection. They say Jesus died at 15:00 on 0033-04-03 Fr (Friday 3rd, April, 33 AD) and rose again at 04:00 on 0033-04-05 Su (Sunday 5th April, 33AD). They used a computer program to check biblical references against historical astronomical data.
They said the New Testament stated that Jesus died the day after the first night with a full moon, after the vernal equinox. Using data gathered on the stars between 26 and 35 AD they established that in those nine years, the first full moon after the vernal equinox was registered twice — on Friday, 7th April, 30 AD, and on Friday, 3rd April 33 AD.
They were convinced the date of the crucifixion was 33 AD, and not 30 AD, because records showed a solar eclipse, as depicted in The Bible at the time of Jesus’s crucifixion, occurred in Jerusalem that year.
Conclusion
“Know and understand this: From the time the word goes out to restore and rebuild Jerusalem until the Anointed One, the ruler, comes, there will be seven ‘sevens,’ and sixty-two ‘sevens.’ … After the sixty-two ‘sevens,’ the Anointed One will be put to death and will have nothing.”
Jesus Christ was crucified exactly when Daniel prophesied, after 483 lunar years (476 solar) from the command to rebuild the Jewish Temple. This is one of the most precise prophecies predicting the exact year of an event found in the Bible.

I see a severe error and confusion here. Since Passover ALWAYS occurs at a full moon there cannot have been a natural solar eclipse. Simple astronomy.

God is not subject to the laws of astronomy, but the laws of astronomy are subject to Him for He created them! God does what He wants, when He wants and as He pleases for purposes belonging to Him!
See Joshua 10:12-14
12 On the day the Lord gave the Amorites over to Israel, Joshua said to the Lord in the presence of Israel: “Sun, stand still over Gibeon, and you, moon, over the Valley of Aijalon.” So the sun stood still, and the moon stopped, till the nation avenged itself on its enemies, as it is written in the Book of Jashar.
The sun stopped in the middle of the sky and delayed going down about a full day. 14 There has never been a day like it before or since, a day when the Lord listened to a human being. Surely the Lord was fighting for Israel!

The Dating of 33 AD is incorrect when you look at the actual days of the week of the years on the calender. This is because the going out of the order to rebuild the Temple can be dated from 446 BC to 444 BC. There has been a lot of calender manipulation done long ago, so that tracing the exact year has to be further identified by the actual days involved.
Under Levitical law, the lamb to be sacrificed must be inspected 4 days prior to sacrifice. Yeshua made His triumphal entry into Jerusalem on Sunday prior to passover. 4 days later makes it Wednesday that needs to be the actual day of sacrifice/execution. The only Wednesday Passover's near the correct date of 33 AD happened on the previous Calender year of 31/32 AD, because the Jewish New year is actually in the fall of the previous year.
The calender week requires a date of 31 AD Gregorian/32 AD Judean, in order to have the days line up properly from the 1st day appearance of Yeshua on Sunday at the Temple, thus allowing for Yeshua to be a properly inspected lamb for the sacrifice that would need to take place by 3:00pm Wednesday, April 25, 0031 Gregorian/ 0032 Judean.
One has to be very careful to observe Levitical laws as the days fall on the calender, as opposed to what the Catholic Church has influenced on which days of the week things happened on. Choosing the year from the two possible years that line up with Levitical dates on the calender, 28/29 AD remains a possibility, but other Astronomical Data pushes a preference for 31/32 AD.

The following astronomical data in the first three columns below was obtained from the U.S. Naval Observatory Astronomical Applications Department. The pertinent file may be accessed on the Internet athttp://www.usno.navy.mil/USNO/astronomical-applications/data-services/spring-phenom . Note. The times of day given in the second and third columns have been adjusted +2 hours from U.S. Naval Observatory figures to account for the difference between Jerusalem Israel and Greenwich England (universal) time. It should also be noted that the first evening of a visible crescent moon (column 4) always occurs only minutes after sundown, which is at the very beginning of a new day on the Hebrew calendar. This Hebrew day correlates to the following day on our Gregorian calendar as noted in the chart below (column 5). Column 6 is Passover dates for the given years.
Once you are close to the year on the calender, the days of the week must match the 8 days of the Feast of Unleavened Bread, beginning in the previous evening at Sunset on the third day of the week, Tuesday. This allows for a choice of two Calender Years.
The inspection of the lamb could be no earlier than the first day of the week, Sunday, the Feast of unleavened Bread begins Erev Tuesday with the preparation of the sacrifice by 3:00 pm of the Fourth day of the Week, Erev Wednesday; with Passover beginning at sunset just after the sacrifice is complete, on Erev Thursday. This complete pattern allows for the High Holy Day Sabbath on Thursday; an open market on Friday to buy herbs, spices, and linen; the regular Sabbath on Saturday, with Yeshua rising as early as just after sunset on Saturday...which is Erev Sunday.
The accuracy is critical only on the Days of the Week. Dating of the Decree going forth seems to be off by up to 2 years, and cannot be verified further at present. Perhaps more archeological information will be discovered to guarantee the Calender year as well.

Did you count 0 as a year?
There are also historical factors one needs to examine that support a 33 A.D date.
The ancients established dates in 2 primary ways. i)They connected them to the length of a ruler's career ii)they associated one event in a general way to the timing of other key events.
Other key historical data that needs to be pinpointed and dated in order to work out the year of Yeshua's death include:
* The year of His birth - which can be reckoned by the period of king Herod's rule, the Census, Historical accounts of Herod's personality, the slaying of the infants, the timing of Herod's death which then sets the date for Yeshua's birth since He was born before Herod died.
Josephus gives us key data here as he tells us of a lunar eclipse that came during the last portion of the king's illness that led to his death (Antiquities 17.167-81, 188-92). It is the only eclipse Josephus mentions. By astronomical calculation, we can date this to the middle of March in 4 B.C. This sets the latest date for Yeshua's birth. Looking at all the above and working backward 2 years from Herod's death, the result is a birth that falls somewhere between 6-4 B.C.
The Start and Length of His ministry
* This depends in part on the date of the start of John the Baptist's ministry, since John baptized Jesus before the start of Jesus' ministry. To get a date here we look at the figures who were ruling at the start of John's ministry.
- How were these regal years counted? Evidence of coins, the mentioning of 3 Passovers requiring at least 2 years time are mentioned in John as well as a feast of the Jews (which may mean a 4th Passover), thus this reckoning requires a min. of 2 years and a max. of 4 years for Jesus' ministry.
* The reference to the Temple in John 2:20. - Was it completed 46 years previously or had it been under construction for 46 years up to this point. - Is it referring to the temple precints as a whole or is it a more specific reference to the holy inner sanctuary (because then the date is at least 1.5 years after the start of the work in the entire area (Antiquities 15:421) - In what year did the work actually begin? - Is John referring to a separate temple cleansing in Jesus' ministry? - Is John's account distinct from the ones the Synoptics mention in Jesus' last week?
The year of Yeshua's death -Is a Syrian or Roman reckoning being used?
- Historical data concerning Pilate, Lucius Aelius Sejanus (executed October A.D.31), and Tiberius Information found in (Philo, Embassy 159-61), (Antiquities 18.55-59, War 2. 169-74), (Antiquities 18. 60-62, War 2.175-77) (Luke 13.1 and 23:12) (Philo embassy 299-305).
When all the events mentioned above are puzzled together and filtered out, a A.D 33 time frame makes better sense. However the essence isn't whether the date is A.D 32 or 33, but the fact that it happened.

Solar Activity 33 AD At noon, darkness came over the whole land until three in the afternoon. – Mark 15:33Also, on a separate note, researchers have found that the year 33 AD corresponds to calculations based on solar eclipse information, when Jesus Christ was crucified. God is not subject to the laws of astronomy, but the laws of astronomy are subject to Him for He created them! God does what He wants, when He wants and as He pleases for purposes belonging to Him! I missed seeing and responding to your reply. Of course God does what he pleases but His laws do not change. You cannot claim to calculate by His laws a supernatural event. This is illogical. Once you make an illogical statement, it casts doubt on the rest of what you say. Then, to defend it with more illogical statements, turns people off. I was trying to help you strengthen your presentation but it appears I am wasting my time.

Yes, generally God's established laws do not change, but that doesn't mean He cannot intervene when He chooses, otherwise that would not explain miracles like the Red Sea crossing. That doesn't mean that one cannot again use Science to confirm those miracles, for example archaeology has found chariot wheels of the Egyptians beneath the Red Sea to confirm the miracle of the Red Sea Crossing.
