There are two FREE internet courses coming up this year that may interest people on here - one in March and one in October (Coursera also offer many other free courses from other top-level Universities - search their list!).
Go to: www.coursera.org/telaviv and have a look. The first, in a couple of months, is about understanding the Middle East and the other, later in the year, is about the fall and rise of Jerusalem. All essential material is provided on-line (a short bibliography is given but the books are not essential to complete the course).
I have no financial or special academic interest in these courses - I suggest, simply, that some on here may be interested. They do not carry any academic credit value, but a certificate to say you have satisfactorily completed the course can be obtained, if wanted.
