I was looking for info on keeping Kosher. However I don't think that I saw any threads or postings with regards to keeping Kosher, unless I am blind as a bat. If there is could someone direct me to it? Or if there is none could we start a discussion on keeping Kosher?
My other question is buying food products that have kosher symbols on them. Is there a website for Canadians such as myself, with kosher symbols or products that would be considered Kosher?
Also for the products that do have the Kosher symbols on them, are these really considered Kosher?
I have many questions with regards to keeping Kosher. However I want to open this up for discussion, if this is okay.

Shalom! So on the subject of Kosher meats and foods yes if it is Kosher certified it is indeed Kosher. This does not mean healthy for you but Kosher In my home we only purchase only Kosher certified meats and food products. Everyone has a different take on "HOW" Kosher their home should be and that varies home to home. There are some great posts in this section of the forum on how to eat Kosher. There is "Biblical" Kosher as some call it and there is the more strict "Rabbinic" Kosher with the separating of milk and dairy along with Kashering of the Kitchen and such. I would recommend doing the basics for now as laid out in Rabbi Reuel's post with the Kosher food list found here, theloveofgod.proboards.com/thread/2265/kashrut-kosher-lawsI also found a website worth checking out in Canada here, cor.ca/list/57:2/kosher_products.htmlHere is another place to purchase Kosher products. www.kosherfoodwarehouse.com/I pray you are blessed in your walk and pray for guidance on your food intake, we are to be compared to the temple so we need to take care on what goes into that place where the Father dwells among us Bless and Keep, Yedidyah
