My wife pointed this out to me the other day so I thought I would share. Looks like this verse is speaking about Yeshua walking on water. Shabbat Shalom! 17 (16) The water saw you, God; the water saw you and writhed in anguish, agitated to its depths. 18 (17) The clouds poured water, the skies thundered, and your arrows flashed here and there. 19 (18) The sound of your thunder was in the whirlwind, the lightning flashes lit up the world, the earth trembled and shook. 20 (19) Your way went through the sea, your path through the turbulent waters; but your footsteps could not be traced. 21 (20) You led your people like a flock under the care of Moshe and Aharon.

I think much of the Psalms are prophetic. Even in praise or crying out in dire need the authors of the Bible prophesied. It's one way God says "This is My inspired Word!"
Another is that one prophecy can relate to more than one future incident. I believe this could be an end times prophecy as well. The ancient Rabbis believed that water was a favorite haunt of demons. Consider that the most powerful of demons are bound in the depths of the river Euphrates. We see this in Rev 9:13-16, and they are probably Cherubim, very powerful fallen angels which, if left loose would destroy mankind. When they eventually are loosed they do destroy 1/3rd of mankind. The storm Yeshua led his Talmidim through in Mark 4:39 was probably just a taste of what will be unleashed in the end times. But we know Yeshua can and will lead the remnant of His people through this storm as well.

Shalom! I often see Israel’s history in the Psalms. This Psalm reminds me of a time of His awesome deliverance and provision. I see in Exodus 14 where the Red Sea is divided and Israel walks on dry land. The L-rd tells Moshe to extend his hand to divide the sea that keeps them from progressing. And the angel of God, which went before the camp of Israel, removed and went behind them; and the pillar of the cloud went from before their face, and stood behind them. And it came between the camp of the Egyptians and the camp of Israel; and it was a cloud and darkness [to them], but it gave light by night [to these]: so that the one came not near the other all the night. Absolutely! "The water saw you, God; the water saw you and writhed in anguish, agitated to its depths."
And a new nation was born as it passed through the depths, as an infant passing through the birth canal. Similarly, a generation later when they went in to possess the land God had given them the Jordan river was stirred from its depths at flood stage; and in Joshua 3 their children saw the waters held back in what had to be a massive wall, which grew as they crossed!
