I heard a compelling hypothesis that Lazarus was in fact the "Beloved Disciple" and author of John. I'll write up what I can remember tomorrow. Anyone heard that theory?

I remember seeing something about that but the details were so far reaching that what I read was an obvious failer when it came to facts. You see lots of people who come up with ideas that they somehow find an hour to talk about but the real meat of the subject is only a single sentence from the scripture and lots of commentary
