I was Southern Baptist from the time I was 6 until partway through a Christan Studies Bachelor degree when I was introduced to the Hebrew Roots. That must have made your parents happy ... My father was a Southern Baptist preacher, so that is what I was raised. Left the church with a vengeance soon as I could. Later in life I returned, went to a Baptist church with a really good preacher, but they got rid of him. Kinda reminded me of some of the reasons I left. I went back to the world, but not as bad, then went to a couple of Pentecostal churches. I'm still active in an AoG church right now, even though I disagree with some of their doctrines- even moreso now that I'm Messianic. Dan C

I was Protestant with some Evangelical leanings. After a point in time I began studying with Conservative & Judaisms. Mother was raised Roman Catholic, so both of my parents had a disdain for all things Catholic & Orthodox Christian, although now I find great interest into the Didache, 1st Clement, Shepherd of Hamas, Desert Fathers, Breslov, etc.

I was raised in a non-denominational type, it leaned towards being evangelical I think.

I began as a non-denominational believer out of the Catholic faith. Was filled with His Holy Spirit and then spent 27 years wondering what was wrong with mainstream Christianity. Figured it out. Micha'el
