My wife and I had a really good meeting with the pastor of the AoG church where we worship. She wants to join there, and I am going more to the Messianic mindset every day. I talked with him about some of my beliefs and the reasons why I am where I'm at. He's pretty understanding about it. My wife still has some issues with it, but she is at least starting to accept that I'm serious, but that I'm not abandoning her there either. I lead an outreach program there, and I'll probably be involved in teaching a class as well. I talked to him about the way I handle things. The outreach was formed under the authority of the AoG church, so whenever issues or views I disagree come up, I back out of the conversation as it wouldn't be right to abuse a position of trust. On the other hand, the class is actually nondenominational and structured to get people to speak their views. So I do ... I do back off if I think it wouldn't be appropriate though; like when it starts to confuse the one new Christian in the class. Nothing is worth messing with someone's spirituality like that- even though I really luv t' spank some of them in arguments! I told him if he ever needed to replace me with a member or tell me to cool down a bit I'd understand. He's good with what I'm doing though. Any way, it is good when people are not threatened by differences, respect each other and work together for the kingdom. Now if I could just get my wife on board ... Dan C

Hi, I think , now this is my opinion, perhaps G-d is using you to be a witness to their church about the Messianic Movement. Speaking of your wife...do you have some anointing oil? You could anoint her socks... purse... whatever she has and pray for her. She will come around, I am sure. if its meant to be g-d will lead her the way

Shalom Dan! You are in a good place. Sometimes Adonai will place us to be an influence to all who are around us, even family. Your experience sounds like the one new man spoken of in Eph 2:15. As you have been patient remain patient. Opportunities will avail themselves and as you continue to mature in your faith and wisdom you will be able to share and see His wonders. After all, we were in a similar place not too long ago. Micha'el
