Hello everyone... does anyone here know ASL America Sign Language?

Just wondering if so, how much do you know? and how long?

I am fluently in ASL not bragging, it was my first language.\ after I was forced to go to an oral school for 4 years.

No, I don't. But I am trying to learn the Hebrew aleph bet. I make forms with my hands that resemble the letter and, believe it or not, as I flow through my own version of HSL (patent pending ) it helps me remember a few of them (itsaprocess).

I can also type out about 5 words a minute on the keyboard if it is mostly English- less if I have to use my brand new handy Hebrew dictionary (which doesn't have the word "Ivrit" or "Hivrit" in it. ... go figure). Or I can handwrite you an illegible note in a fraction of the time if you prefer.

But I digress (bad habbit) ... the point is after trying to flow smoothly through all the convoluted hand postures, I certainly have a new respect for those conversant in ASL.

Sadly, I am in awe of those who speak Hebrew, 'cause I am just LOST!

I am learning to speak and write Hebrew, its been a few months since I have been to my Hebrew class, but being sick and all I am not able to , So I go to Hebrew sites and look at the Hebrew Alphabets.

I know some by heart. I even have loads to sheets of Hebrew in English/ and transliteration. Pretty cool. and if you want to learn sign language you can always go on youtube. I even have some youtube videos of mine own

I , alos, know BSL Alphabets. I am trying to learn other signs .. the Chinese... Ohh l-rdy have mercy, tooo complicated!!!!!Nevermind Chinese!

My friend who is teaching us Hebrw learned Hebrew in ONLY 4 MONTHS!


I had to get that off my chest, but, hey.... I am learning.. *in slow motionnnnn* Sllllloooooooowwlllyyyyyy!
