Hello Ahavat Elohiim Forums! My name is Lowen (or if you want, you can call me by my real name, "Michael"). Mercy, love, and peace to each of you through our Lord Jesus Christ.
First of all, I suppose I should start by saying that I am a Gentile believer in "Yeshua" (I suppose that's how it is pronounced in the Hebrew). I came across this site while searching for some Christian Jewish forums. Why was I searching for such a forum? Because I've had an interest in what Jewish Christians believe exactly, and I've also wanted to get in touch with the Jewish roots of Christianity. I hope that you guys will take me in as a dear brother in Christ, and not as Peter who shunned the gentile believers and had to be rebuked by apostle Paul.
I have a deep interest in the scriptures, and I constantly find myself reading the Bible in my spare time. One of the greatest achievements I want to thank the Lord for is reading through the entire Bible, from Genesis to Revelation, when I was 18. Ever since, I have been reading the entire Bible throughout each year. I am currently 21, and I believe I am on my fourth round of reading the entire scriptures. Hallelujah! All praise to God and my Savior, Jesus Christ, forever and ever. Amen.
I became saved fairly early in my life, probably around 12 or 13. I can't remember the exact year that I accepted Jesus. Though I do remember that it was my dear mother who led me to Christ. Ever since then, I can look back over the course of my life and see the Lord's hand in it. He is so good.
I hope to learn quite a bit while I'm here. I also wish to edify my brothers and sisters in Christ here on this forum as well.
God bless! In much love,
--Michael
