We always take Yom Kippur off. Partially, this is to encourage people to dp their own business with Adonai- not reaching out to teach others or to receive from others but to spend the time in intimacy with the Most High. The practical reason is that it is well known that most -Observant will not be active during Yom Kippur so, without safe-guards, this would be a time that some less than scrupulous folks would be inclined to launch an attack against us. It has become our practice for the past couple of years to shut the forum down for Yom Kippur.
