This is very cool...As we all know hebrew names in the bible have a particular meaning, in genesis 5 we see the genelogy from adam to noah...adding the meaning of the names, we get 1. Adam = Mankind 2. Seth = Appointed 3. Enosh = Mortal (or: Woeful) 4. Kenan = Lamentation (or: Chamber) 5. Mahalalel = The Blessed God (the glory of God) 6. Jared = Descends 7. Enoch = Instructing 8. Methuselah = His death shall send 9. Lamech = To the perishing 10.Noah = Comfort (or: Rest) Mankind (is) appointed mortal lamentation (or: to a woeful chamber); the blessed God descends, instructing (that) His death shall send to the perishing comfort (or: Rest) Yeshua!!!

yep. that is something i posted on my own forum actaully. it is a really cool prophecy- perhaps intentional, but it would beeven more amazing if it was a coincidence.
other ttranslation:
man is appointed mortal sorrow. the blessed God shall come down teaching about his death that will send the dead comfort.
in other words, his death will bring us a resurrection; which is evident from what Sha'ul says about Yeshua's death.

really, the literal hebrews words are kindof gibberish... but the meanings of the names are valid interpretations. we must remember however, that the names have unknown etymologies, although there have been scholarly guesses.
did i answer your question?

How about that for a coincidence. As y’all know, I don’t know any Hebrew. Since joining this forum, I have decided that knowing a little Hebrew want kill me. So my first thought was to translate the names of people and places since they are transliterated in the KJV. Most of the names that I have studied are very interesting. Thanks for the post.
