I think there is a geat value to be had in holding with a Judaic understanding of how to celebrate the festivals commanded by . seldom gives us specific instructions as hwo to participat ein these sacred days fo worship. Jewish tradition provides us with a wealth of breadth and context that is helpful in making these times significant times of worship. I suppose we may be free to make up our own traditions to keep these commands; but would this not fly in the face of the teachings of Paul? Wherefore remember, that ye being in time past Gentiles in the flesh, who are called Uncircumcision by that which is called the Circumcision in the flesh made by hands; That at that time ye were without Christ, being aliens from the commonwealth of Israel, and strangers from the covenants of promise, having no hope, and without God in the world: But now in Christ Jesus ye who sometimes were far off are made nigh by the blood of Christ. (Ephesians 2:11-13 KJV)
