It is interesting to see in this week's haftarah portion of the reading communicates that the Goyim (Gentiles) in the end days will join themselves to Israel, and recognize the lies that their fathers have told them no doubt for many centuries. "O YHVH, my strength, and my fortress, and my refuge in the day of affliction, the Gentiles shall come unto thee from the ends of the earth, and shall say, Surely our fathers have inherited lies, vanity, and things wherein there is no profit." - Jeremiah 16:19 It is interesting to see that the Gentiles will come before YHVH. They come from the ends of the Earth. Where are they going to meet Adonai?? I believe this could most definitely be a reference to Gentiles coming to Israel during the Moedim when the Temple is up and running again. This prophecy has not come to pass yet, but we are seeing the firstfruits as many Gentile believers are joining themselves to Israel, and are rejecting the anti- theology of their fathers whom have left a legacy of lies, vanity, and things wherein there is no profit. As we see in the first chapter of this week's reading (Lev.25), we just need to trust in Adonai and His instruction, and not our own wisdom. When we do this, we have a promise from our Heavenly Father that we will be like a tree planted by the waters, and that spreadeth out her roots by the river, and shall not see when heat cometh, but her leaf shall be green; and shall not be careful in the year of drought, neither shall cease from yielding fruit... "Thus saith YHVH; Cursed be the man that trusteth in man, and maketh flesh his arm, and whose heart departeth from YHVH. For he shall be like the heath in the desert, and shall not see when good cometh; but shall inhabit the parched places in the wilderness, in a salt land and not inhabited. Blessed is the man that trusteth in YHVH, and whose hope YHVH is. For he shall be as a tree planted by the waters, and that spreadeth out her roots by the river, and shall not see when heat cometh, but her leaf shall be green; and shall not be careful in the year of drought, neither shall cease from yielding fruit. The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it? I YHVH search the heart, I try the reins, even to give every man according to his ways, and according to the fruit of his doings." - Jeremiah 17:5-10 B'Shem Yeshua, Reuel
