John 01 : 14 Yeshua is the imbodiment of the Law

In the testimony of John, the writer starts out prolcaiming that "Word became flesh" (John 1:14) when describing Yeshua. When Yeshua died for our sins on the cross does that mean the old covenant ended, was fulfilled by Him and another was to come in its place?

Considering that Yochanan wrote on a 'sod' level and directed his message to the Essenes, it is not surprising that he used such terminology. When he said the "Word became flesh" he was saying the (G-d's gift to mankind) became flesh and bone.

Now on to your question: Yeshua said "Think not that I have come to abolish..." Based on that fact alone, we should have no reason to believe the Mosaic Covenant (also called the Old Covenant) was done away with. He even went on further to qualify that statement by saying, that until heaven and earth pass away, not one yud (the smallest letter) or one stroke of the would be done away with until all things had been completed.
Now, just looking around, we can tell that we do not have a new heaven and a new earth. Based on that information, we can be sure that everything in the is still applicable to us.

yet even so it seems that this Yeshua claimed to have fulfilled the requirements of the law.

As a high priest according to the order of Melchezidec, Yeshua went to heaven and applied His blood to the kapporeth and it was at this time that forgiveness was finally bought for us.

The fulfillment of the second appearance of messiah is still in the future where all the rest of the prophecies will be fulfilled concerning the new heavens and the new earth. We all hope that it arrives soon amen.

Part of the problem is that the concept of the law is broken into three different sections. The ritual laws of sacrifice, the civil laws of mens behavior and the dietary laws. When the final sacrifice of Yeshua was made there was no more need for sacrifices, the one and perfect sacrifice was made for all time and no more could be added

The law of the kinsman redeemer (as in the book of Ruth)
The law of the perfect servant (as in Leviticus)
and the fulfillment of the meaning of Passover all bound up in one single act, no more is needed amen.

It was not the whole that was done away with but just the ritual sacrifices, now that there is no temple in which to make such sacrifices the issue is moot.

Let the perfect temple not built with human hands come down to us from heaven not some mock temple again built imperfectly. Where the holiest of holies is not barred from our prescence but a place of welcome from a loving G-d.

You might also want to read Ezekiel 45 & 46, which describe the sacrifices that will be offered, and the Prince (Messiah) that will offer them in the Millenial Kingdom.

You might ask how I come to that conclusion? Well, I am glad you asked, but I am not going to make it easy on you.

The hint is to study the types of sacrifices that are brought, and how they differ than what was required in Vayikra.

The sacrifices that are brought are the sacrifices given at the feast of tabernacles since that kingdom is foreshadowed by this feast day.

Although, we read that there are sin sacrifices offered and it is only conjecture to say that it will only be in regards to Sukkot (Feast of Tabernacles). Keep in mind that Yeshua cannot fulfill the requirements of the Levitical priesthood seeing that He is not a Levite. For Him to do so would be contrary to the clear instruction in regarding the Levites. But, from a reading of scripture we see that both the Levitical priesthood and the future Davidic king (Yeshua) will operate in harmony...

If you had read the scriptures you would not have made this assumption. Especially, since it talks about Rosh Chodesh.

As Reuel has pointed out, Messiah will work in harmony, as the scriptures tell us that He will prepare the sacrifices, and they will be offered by the Levitical Priesthood.
